Main Line Parent is published by a team of local women to connect families raising their kids around the Main Line and Philly’s western suburbs with resources, events, and each other. It all started with our vibrant Main Line Parent Community Facebook Group dedicated to Building Community (join the conversation with our 36,000+ local parents!) and our Email Newsletters, which deliver our curated roundup of fun things to do with your family around the Main Line every Thursday, as well as our latest news and updates from local businesses! The Family Focus Media team was proud to present a $500 donation to Fostering Hope on behalf of our Members and Communities at the 2024 LOVE Luncheon as our Community Builder of the Year. Fostering Hope provides invaluable support to youth in foster care and the families caring for them.
Through comprehensive resources, advocacy, and compassionate care, they reduce barriers and ease transitions for vulnerable children in our area. Some of the resources they provide include new duffle bags and for children to use when packing to move from one home to another, bags of necessities called “Bags of Hope” and foster families are invited to “shop” in the “Foster- -Share Closet” for gear such as clothing, books, toys and other essential gear. Children in foster care deserve a world where they can thrive and feel valued. It is an honor to recognize this exceptional organization serving the foster care community.
