The Montessori Children’s House of Valley Forge is a strong cohesive community of children, teachers, board members & parents who strive for one common goal – to provide a nurturing Montessori environment where students are encouraged to become independent and curious learners and more importantly, kind and responsible citizens. MCHVF develops the whole child by meeting each child’s individual needs in a hands-on, multi-sensory environment. We offer an extraordinary Montessori education delivered by nurturing teachers in beautiful Valley Forge Historic National Park. Our mission is to cultivate the innate love of learning and respect that young children have for themselves, their peers, and their environment in order to help them prepare for a life of integrity, academic accomplishment and purpose.

The teachers are nurturing and kind, and the location is fantastic in VF Park. I highly recommend checking out this school for your child.

MCHVF is a phenomenal school located on the grounds of beautiful Valley Forge Park. My son has absolutely loved his time there and cannot wait to attend each day. MCHVF is an amazing environment for children to learn, grow and blossom. We’ve been fortunate to have both children pass through from Toddler to Kindergarten. The teachers are intelligent, loving and caring beyond the classroom. My children have opposite personalities, but the entire staff (not only the classroom teachers) meet each child right where they are. My daughter was well equipped with academic and social skills that enables her to thrive in her elementary school with confidence. My son is continuously activating his strengths and learning new skills as he moves through each stage from toddler to kindergarten. My children feel a sense of ownership of the school as they should. We are grateful for the network and friendships created with other families and teachers. It really takes a village to raise a child, and MCHVF is not only a school, it is family, it is home!
