Dom Pecora of Dom Fixes Bikes has made it his mission to help local youth realize their own dream of owning a bike. Riding is Dom’s passion. He maintains a 501c3 to raise money to give bikes away. Christmas 2023 he gave away 125 bikes – thanks to the support of the community and many local organizations. Dom is just 15 years old and is living his mission!

As a kid, my bike gave me independence and the freedom to explore and learn. I love being able to play a small part in helping Dom give that opportunity to whole other generation. I have watched Dom help many people and I am inspired by his passion for biking, his knowledge of repairs and his ability to juggle school, rugby, a non-profit and a bike shop all with grace. Most adults cannot do that!
