We LOVE Brandywine School of Wizardry!
BSW isn’t just themed after a famous English school for talented wizards and witches; it creates its own unique brand of magic. Every staff member remains wonderfully in character. The Professors, administrators, and lead students are all devoted to creating a playful, believable, and safe world for each camper that makes camp weeks truly enchanting.
Headmistress Gina DiGiacomo, Deputy Headmistress Maria Tesone, and their staff mentor their “students” with intentionality, helping them build skills and confidence while having an amazingly fun experience.
My daughter, who has ADHD and thrives when she’s busy and engaged, found her joy here. She looks forward to every Summer Camp session and off-season One-Nighter.
As she’s grown from 1st year student to Prefect, the staff has recognized her boundless energy and excitement as strengths, giving her leadership opportunities that keep her active, interested, and motivated.
When challenges have come up (such as some minor bullying) the staff handled it immediately, gracefully, and with discreet care for everyone involved. Their attentiveness to both emotional well-being and safety is unmatched; their communication and organization give parents confidence that every detail is covered.
They have also organized support for several local children’s charities over the years, encouraging their students to pay it forward and to think about and reach out to help those in need.
My camper is now a young teen, and it’s a rare and precious gift to have a place where she still belongs, and that allows her to hang on to some of her childlike wonder by celebrating imagination with acceptance, structure, inclusivity, and genuine love & care.

Every communication shows their passion and love for the school of wizardry. They really care about their students and staff (who are usually students who just don’t want to leave after they graduate high school). I am so happy my daughter has found her way to this school. It has enhanced her life in so many ways- she is learning how to be a leader and how to find magic in everything she does. They truly are an incredible organization and we are so lucky to have them in our community. I mean every word I’ve said in my review. Brandywine School of Wizardry is highly regarded in our house and many others!!

My daughter, like many others, loves Harry Potter and has wished to go to Hogwarts. We were so impressed after her first week there! The professors stay in character, the wizarding classes are on point, and she was so excited to return – 2025 will be her third summer there! She talks about seeing her fellow students and favorite professors year after year. The care and thought for each activity and student is top notch. Can’t wait to see what is in store for this year!

For celebrating all things Harry Potter. For welcoming kids from the youngest through the teen years. For being a camp that combines outdoor activities with indoor games, kindness and friendship. For the caring way the counselors encourage the kids. For giving teens opportunities to lead. For bringing all the weeks of the camp together at the end of the summer for a big celebration and service opportunity. This is a camp you can attend for years!

Our kids went to this camp for the first time this year. We have one major HP fan and one who is just kind of into the whole thing. BOTH children loved this camp. They came home every day full of stories – which is unusual. Typically we have to pull details out of them about what they do at camp all day. Not this camp! They are obviously having a lot of fun and from the stories we hear, the activities have been engaging, clever and fun!
My one child is already planning on coming back as a Head Student — 3 years from now! We would definitely sign up again and also would recommend this camp!

My daughter just completed a week of this summer camp and it has by far been the best week of camp she has ever had. We have been to many different camps over the years but this camp experience was fantastic. Every day when I pick her up, she is bursting with joy describing all the fun she had. They have incorporated so many similar HP details, that help elevate the experience. We will definitely be back for multiple weeks every year.
