As I tell Lacey almost every time I see her, I don’t know how anyone goes through pregnancy and birth without a doula! I recently delivered my 3rd baby with Lacey as my doula. All three deliveries were very different and Lacey proved to be just as irreplaceable each time! This 3rd birth, I planned to do it natural like the last two, but things went a little different than planned (as always!). My water started leaking and then within a couple hours there was meconium in my water (only knew this because of Lacey!). I ended up having to be induced and getting an epidural – complete opposite of my “plan”. Lacey was completely supportive the whole time no matter what decision I made, always talking through any questions I had.
To the support people out there – my husband was skeptical the first time and now he wouldn’t change it for the world! Lacey teaches your support people how to be the best support out there!
I can’t recommend KOP doulas enough!

King of Prussia Doulas made my pregnancy and birth experience so lovely and empowering. I truly believe every birth needs the guidance and support of a doula. The care that I received (and continue to receive the entire first year postpartum!) went above and beyond my expectations. The simplest questions I have are answered in a timely fashion and with extreme attention to detail, making me feel like my experience is personalized and important. I cannot recommend hiring KOP Doulas anything and everything birth-related enough!

Lacey and Jackie provided everything they said they would – and so much more. They supported my wife and me equally, providing deeply loving, knowledgeable, and individualized support before, during and after the birth. After a traumatic first birthing experience, we are in awe of the amazing and empowering birth we had. They created safety and trust where there was first only fear and doubt. I am a high risk patient who wanted a natural birth in the hospital – I know this would not have happened without them. Lacey and KOP doulas were recommended to me by my OB, and I am very grateful that I was connected with them. I had good feelings from the moment I spoke with Lacey and Jackie. Our first meeting was very educational and helped me navigate what interventions might be offered/suggested, how they could affect labor, and whether or not I would want to avoid or consider them.
I went into labor 2.5 weeks early when my husband was out of town. This is where Lacey and Jackie really came through. They were in touch with me even in the early hours of the morning and offered support until I was ready for in person support. Without going into too much detail, I had a VERY fast labor and I have told many people that I don’t think I would have mentally or emotionally gotten through it without Lacey. I tell anyone who will listen to me that they should hire KOP Doulas because they offer support that your OB, Nurse or significant other are unable to offer.
