From the start, Kristina Pulcini Ballet Academy has been a ballet-oriented dance academy, staffed with true professionals who know how to teach proper (and safe!) ballet and dance technique, with magical performing opportunities in front of big, enthusiastic audiences. A studio where everyone -- from the littlest to high school dancers -- are inspired; there they learn and grow in confidence in a place that’s fun and safe, where they have strong friendships; a place where respect, kindness, inclusiveness, and encouragement are both expected and found. A place where dreams come true and cups are filled.
Founded by Kristina Pulcini, who was awarded both the Gold and Silver Grand Prix Medals at the world's largest international ballet competition YAGP and danced professionally at Boston Ballet, Tulsa Ballet and in Germany with the Staatsballett Berlin.

My daughter has been dancing 10+ years at Kristina Pulcini Ballet Academy, starting at the preschool
Level. The teachers at KPBA have been wonderful across every level, providing exceptional ballet instruction as well as being warm, kind, and supportive of all the dancers. My daughter has made friendships that will be lifelong as she has “grown up” at the studio over the years. Not only is there excellent ballet instruction, but it is an environment where the girls are supportive of one another, cheering each other on at performances, and really helping each other become the best they can be- as dancers, friends, and students. The administrative staff is wonderful and always attentive to any questions or concerns. They make sure all the dancers feel included and welcomed across the levels. KPBA is truly one of the greatest blessings for my daughter and we are so grateful to be a part of it. Performances are top notch and so fun to watch as a parent and see the growth of

Kristina Pulchini Ballet Academy is a hidden gem of the Main Line area! My daughter has been receiving classical ballet instruction at this studio for the past 12 years. While there are many different dance studios in the area, none compare to the level of instruction and individual attention given at KP ballet. Kristina and her staff are dedicated to ensuring each dancer is well rounded on and off stage. Some ballet studios are punitive and play by favorites. The environment at KP ballet is completely opposite. All dancers are encouraged to strive for their best. No one is excluded or left out. I trust Kristina and her staff wholeheartedly. All the ballet performances hold fast to the traditional music and choreography while at the same time creating twist and variations each year. Kristina has even created and choreographed her own full ballet of the Wizard of Oz!! The costumes are stunningly beautiful at all levels!! My daughter had the opportunity to wear Kristina’s personal professional ballet tutu as Snow Queen in last year’s Nutcracker. My daughter has never wanted to dance at any other studio. KP ballet is truly her home away from home. They have been integral not only in her ballet development but also in her character development. I can’t speak highly enough about our time and experience with KP ballet.

I’ve been dancing at KPBA since I was 4, and it’s become my home ever since. Miss Kristina and every one of the staff members here are so loving and caring, and this is truly my happy place. I’ve received amazing training and have learned so much from the teachers as well. Our performances are so much fun, and I look forward to every one of them! Not only are they fun to dance in, but our costumes and choreography are incredible. Kristina Pulcini Ballet Academy puts on amazing shows that are top quality. Throughout my last 12+ years, I’ve grown as a dancer and have been so fortunate to have made lifelong friendships here, and to have grown up alongside the studio. The studio is such a safe environment for the dancers, and I’ve created some of my best memories here. I’m so grateful for Miss Kristina and all of the teachers who have showed me nothing but love and kindness!

My daughters have been fortunate to be dancing at Kristina Pulcini Ballet Academy since their middle school years. The training is excellent, emphasizing quality over quantity, and the environment is positive and encouraging. Both of my daughters have thrived here learning solid technique and having opportunities to dance twice a year in full-length ballets. My oldest is a senior and has multiple acceptances to rigorous dance BFA programs with significant merit scholarship. The training she has received has prepared her well for the next phase of her dance journey.

Kristina Pulcini is by far the best ballet studio in the MainLine area for young girls. I am the mother of three girls, ages 4-7. My middle daughter has been coming to Kristina Pulcini’s for two years now, and has done three shows with them (two Nutcrackers and one Sleeping Beauty), and we absolutely love it. The family we got the recommendation from has been with the studio for 4 years now. My pastor’s daughter has been with them for 3 years… Do you see the pattern? Families who come here love it! The mother who runs the studio, Janis, is very nurturing and goes out of her way to accommodate all the various needs of her families. Miss Kristina and Miss Kristin have been our teachers the whole time, and I still have no idea what magic they are using in there, because that is the calmest I have ever seen so many small, happy girls! While they are a serious studio, they are not so strict as to make anyone feel pressured or uncomfortable, and they definitely promote dance as a passion but not an obsession. Their practices encourage strong, healthy girls without the madness you sometimes see at other studios, but their teaching is many levels above the average “ballet/tap” or “creative movement” classes we tried. My 5-year-old has even learned to count in French because of her ballet class! As for the shows, they are the most organized, well-managed shows I have found from any school. I have chaperoned three times now, and the experience for these girls is amazing. Every show is a real (albeit abridged) form of the actual ballet, complete with professional dancers. The smaller children are paired with adult dancers so they can get the full experience of participating in a real show, their costumes match with the adult costumes so they can see what they themselves can do when they grow up, and the audience is not bored with yet another recital where tiny toddlers are dragged out onto the stage to giggle for their three minutes. Even my husband didn’t complain about this show! Honestly, when I began my search for a serious studio for my daughter, I was very concerned with her falling into the terrible ballerina stereotype of bone-thin, neurotic dancers. Instead I found this wonderful place where my family can feel at home and my daughter can dance safely and beautifully. I expect we will be there for many years to come. Thank you Kristina Pulcini!
