This review is through the eyes of a Grandmother. This is the second year my Granddaughter has attended KPBA. She started in the PreK Creative Movement Program and progressed to the Pre Ballet class this year. The “formal” ballet includes proper ballet and dance techniques cleverly disguised as fun. The teachers use numerous props such as sparkly wands and tiaras making each class a magical experience.
Kristina and her mother Janis set the tone for the program. They are wonderful. They go out of their way to accommodate the various needs of families and dancers. They have gathered only the highest quality teachers to work with the dancers. Dancers are gently encouraged to do their best without punitive consequences. I can see my Granddaughter’s confidence growing due to the love and care of her teachers.
We’ve attended the three performances my Granddaughter danced in. All three were top notch. It’s thrilling to watch your.child dancing on the “big stage”. The younger children dance with two older ballerinas who help them remember the correct movements for their portion of the ballet. The costumes are beautiful and choreography outstanding. The performances are well organized with nothing left to chance. How the get all the dancers dressed in their costumes and on stage at the correct time is amazing.
My Granddaughter lives in the City where there are numerous choices for dance instruction. Her Parents and I have been so impressed with the quality of instruction coupled with the comfortable, caring environment at KPBA they choose to drive to Havertown every Saturday morning. I think this speaks volumes to the outstanding program at Kristina Pulcini Ballet Academy. It’s the best!

I’ve been dancing at Kristina Pulcini Ballet Academy for 12+ years now, and it truly has become my second home. Miss Kristina and all of the teachers have given me amazing ballet training and have helped me grow so much over the years. They truly care about every dancer and take the time to give each dancer personalized attention. The performances are so much fun! The professional costumes and impressive choreography really make the performances stand out. In addition to the incredible ballet aspect, Miss Kristina and Miss Janis have made it a top priority to make the studio a welcoming place, and I am so grateful for that. They show nothing but kindness to everyone who steps foot into the studio and make each dancer feel cared for. The KPBA community is so inclusive and supportive. We are always cheering each other on to be the best we can be, both at KPBA and outside of ballet. I’m so lucky to have made lifelong friendships here and know many other dancers feel the same. I’ve been given so many wonderful opportunities at KPBA and have made some of my best memories here. I will forever be grateful to Miss Kristina, Miss Janis, and all of the teachers for everything over the years!

Kristina Pulcini Ballet is the best studio in the area and a very special one. I danced my whole childhood and early adulthood in Central PA. It was my everyday and my passion. When I started looking for a studio for my 4 year old daughter, I was worried I would never find a healthy, happy, and yet technical studio. After much research and a few studios, we found a very special place in KP ballet. There is not one piece of their studio that isn’t well thought out with the children in mind. My daughter has learned both age and technically appropriate ballet and best of all is having fun! She loves going each week and the shows are so impressive from the costumes, sets, to the choreography. It’s the best of the dance world; serious dancers having fun!
