From the start, Kristina Pulcini Ballet Academy has been a ballet-oriented dance academy, staffed with true professionals who know how to teach proper (and safe!) ballet and dance technique, with magical performing opportunities in front of big, enthusiastic audiences. A studio where everyone -- from the littlest to high school dancers -- are inspired; there they learn and grow in confidence in a place that’s fun and safe, where they have strong friendships; a place where respect, kindness, inclusiveness, and encouragement are both expected and found. A place where dreams come true and cups are filled.
Founded by Kristina Pulcini, who was awarded both the Gold and Silver Grand Prix Medals at the world's largest international ballet competition YAGP and danced professionally at Boston Ballet, Tulsa Ballet and in Germany with the Staatsballett Berlin.

We are newer to the studio and our experience has been exceptional. This is the third studio we have experience with and the compassion, professionalism, and respectfulness of the owner and her team are unparalleled. They treat each dancer as individuals with love and meet them exactly where they are. They are extremely accommodating while also producing dancers with beautiful technique and grace. The Nutcracker was excellent with professional costuming and stage experience. My daughter loved it! Thank you KP Ballet!!!

Other reviewers here have already said so many of the same things that I think is great about KP Ballet: the quality, the care, the welcoming environment, the beautiful costumes and performances, and the actual learning that takes place. Instead, I’ll share something that my anxious/Type A personality found invaluable. They are extremely organized! Besides having plenty of info on their website, they send out detailed emails and multiple multiple reminders before every major event, such as photoshoots, performances, and closures. Their instructions and guidelines are extremely detailed and well written, and you can see how they’ve honed down their processes and policies to benefit the dancers’ experience the most. Hopefully this is helpful for anyone else who wants to know what to expect as the parent.

Our daughter has been at KP for five years and loves dancing there. As a parent I know she will always be kept safe when she is at the studio or doing a show. As our daughter gets older we truly value the emphasis placed on positive body image and good character in the KP community. The older dancers help the younger girls and are expected to be positive role models. Our daughter loves dancing and feels encouraged and supported. It is a wonderful place to be and we are grateful!

My daughter started at KP Ballet after a move from out of state which can be challenging for a middle school aged child. Janis and Kristina welcomed her warmly and made sure to introduce her to other girls in her class. They worked so hard to make it a smooth transition for her which is exceptional. The dance training is fantastic and the performances are a joy to watch. We couldn’t be happier with this wonderful studio.

I have two daughters who have been dancing at KP Ballet Academy for a number of years – my 8 year old is in her 6th year and my 6 year old is in her 3rd year. We have loved and appreciated KPBA more and more every year. They are unfailingly kind, calm, patient, and nurturing, and truly care about the safe development and future of their ballerinas, and not pushing girls to specialize or push too hard too soon. They’ve created a safe, supportive, pressure-free environment, and it trickles down to positive relationships among the dancers. Ms. Janis and Ms. Kristina go above and beyond to support all KPBA families. All of the shows are incredibly high quality and professional productions. We couldn’t recommend KPBA enough.
