Mother’s Day Brunch at Elmwood Park Zoo

Their annual Mother’s Day Brunches will take place on Saturday, May 13th and Sunday, May 14th, with three timed seatings available each day. Mother’s Day Brunch at Paradocx Vineyard

Paradocx Vineyard is an area winery situated in the rolling hills of southern Chester County. Its name comes from the fact that the winery is owned by two couples, all of whom are doctors. Would mom like a unique fondue dining experience of The Melting Pot in King of Prussia? On Mother’s Day, this family-friendly restaurant is offering a four-course prix fixe menu for $64 per person. With the prix fixe, moms get a mom-osa, champagne, or non-alcoholic beverage on the house. Kids 12 and under may order from the kids menu.

Make a date at Chadds Ford Winery for a celebration of Mom with fresh sips and artisan bites. Mimosas with Mom is happening each weekend in May, when the winery will be honoring Moms with bubbly specials and seasonal pours. This intimate and educational 60-minute experience takes place in the newly renovated Barrel Room and provides access to some of Chaddsford’s latest wine releases. Each session will begin with a brief, classroom-style presentation by a Chaddsford wine educator. After the pairings are introduced and explained, your group will have an hour to enjoy the carefully curated selections. During your session, food truck fare from Common Good Pizza will be available. Guests under 21 years old are not permitted to attend.

Longwood Gardens Mother’s Day Weekend

Join Longwood Gardens for Mother’s Day Weekend and celebrate the opening weekend of Festival of Fountains with the return of daily fountain performances. Take in a spectacular Illuminated Fountain Performance, Thursday through Saturday evening when the gardens are open until 10 pm, or enjoy a flower-filled Sunday stroll when the gardens are open until 6 pm. On Sunday from noon to 3 pm, enjoy guitar duo Chris Braddock and Dan Graper in the Conservatory. There’s dining in the 1906 restaurant and The Café, as well as drinks in the Beer Garden.

Evansburg Vineyards Afternoon Concert

While this is not an official “Mother’s Day” event, an afternoon at the vineyard is a fabulous idea for any mom who appreciates wine! Start your visit in the tasting room with a sample of their wines and a peek into their winemaking space. Then grab a seat on the deck or on the lawn, and enjoy a performance by local musician, Bronwyn Beth. A Philadelphia-based violinist, she earned her master’s degree in classical violin performance, but she grew up playing folk and bluegrass music. Whether she is performing a Vivaldi concerto, fiddling a bluegrass tune, or covering Boyz II Men, she strives to bring the joy and healing power of music to every audience.
