With her help, which included a super comprehensive letter to provide to the special education department and her attendance at a meeting, we were able to get the school to agree to cover the cost of 4 separate evaluations, two of which we were able to choose our own providers for, totaling at least $7,000 dollars. We’re super confident that, once we have the results, we will be able to get him the IEP he needs.

“This is our first year homeschooling our kids, and everyone at Cupola Academy has been amazing. Not only did they consult with us on completing our paperwork, but helped us choose curriculum that best fit each of our individual young people’s needs. Two days a week, our young people go to Cupola to receive facilitated learning. In a short amount of time, they have gotten to know my kids so well. They know their likes, dislikes, and specifically engage with them on areas they enjoy. For example, Mike Hilbert (founder and one of the facilitators) asked my child to stay after one day to help figure out a math problem as he knew they really enjoyed math. Cupola also coordinates community building activities for families, as well as field trips for additional learning. We’ve really enjoyed getting to know other families that attend Cupola. Lastly, they go above and beyond by providing free resources to the homeschool community, such as training events on how to develop a homeschool portfolio and a transcript for college. We are so grateful for Julia, Mike, and all of the Cupola Academy staff – we literally could not have gone down this journey without them.”

“The First Notes Baby-Toddler Music Class at the Plymouth Performing Arts Center is truly one of a kind. It’s basically a Baby & Me class while also being an amazing 45 minute performance by the teachers. The variety of their songs throughout the class sequence is so fun – some are loud and exciting, some are lullabies, some are for dancing or movement, and some are for learning music basics. All of the songs are perfect for the age group!! The instructors also really care about the families, and each child is said hello to in the opening song. I’ve heard from other families that their kids‘ personalities have blossomed because of this music class. My kiddo has a big personality already, and I very much appreciate that the teachers welcome my child with the warmest smiles and laughs. Seeing my toddler be accepted and welcomed for who he is and all of the energy he brings means a lot to me and my family. What a welcoming and inclusive experience.“

They have always been so accommodating and they take the time to make sure the children are paired with the right teacher. Now my kids are performing at school and recitals and even composing their own music! They love piano so much, we gave them a keyboard for Christmas to help them with their compositions. We can’t recommend the music school enough!”

“I am overly impressed by this organizations level of dedication and patience for working with kids at the youngest of ages and bringing them out of their shell to do something most kids would never be able to do on their own. The methods and kindness that goes into their teaching kids how to memorize lines, learn to sign and perform dances and actions on stages in a show after less than 3 months of 1 day a week practices is remarkable. I’ve watched my own son who struggled tremendously with a focus issue in school overcome this challenge and stand on a stage in front of 90 people and sing the first lines of a show alone in his role. I myself could not believe what I was seeing and hearing as all practices are done with just the producer, director, staff and the kids. My son had no idea he could do something like this and loved every bit of the experience after gaining the confidence through the support he was given”

My daughters (10 and 13) have both benefitted tremendously from the individual attention and instruction at WC Studios. But this year, more than any other, I have appreciated that professionalism because of COVID. Knowing the level of care, organization, and professionalism of Therese and her staff, I felt comfortable enrolling my child in summer camp and theater classes. I knew that they would strictly adhere to protocols and ensure the safety of the kids. This trust allows us to continue classes at a time when children are desperate for social interaction and need an outlet for creativity.
