Their beautiful wooded 7-acre campus and Montessori-inspired classrooms support early childhood learning through play, self-discovery, hands-on exploration, and encouragement of independence.
The Wetherill School provides warm, nurturing early childhood and kindergarten environments incorporating best practices in early childhood education through a rich, diverse, creative modified Montessori curriculum that educates the whole child—cognitively, socially and emotionally, and physically. Their state and Montessori certified teachers engage mixed-age groupings in sequential hands-on learning experiences.

The Wetherill School is a true gem! Our daughter spent two amazing years learning and growing here. The classes are small with two teachers per room. I cannot say enough about all the fabulous teachers! They were outstanding, caring, nurturing…everything positive. Some have been there for many years which says something! The mixed-age classrooms with elements of Montessori kept things innovative and fun for our daughter. We loved that there was so much outside time–with nature walks, free play, outside lunches, and gardening—plus much more! The families could not be more welcoming–such a lovely community! It was a very special time for our daughter. Wetherill was her foundation for learning. She still has a passion to learn and explore new things—we owe that to [Wetherill} Thank you! You will always be a a part of us!
