Share your LOVE: Vote for the 2019 LOVE Awards and Join the Celebration!

Voting closes February 8!

If you’re familiar with our story, you know that our entire brand started with a desire for connection and the formation of a community group. Today our community is in the tens of thousands, and we are so grateful that you have continued to share your lives, struggles, celebrations, and advice with us.

Community is what sets us apart, and so when we honor local businesses and individuals every year for our LOVE Awards, we do things a little differently. Above all else, we award those who forge those deeper connections. That way, when you see that orange badge around town, you know it means something. We value quality over quantity and ask you, our community, to call the shots and tell us who has gone above and beyond in the community to make families’ lives a little easier.

Whether it’s the best place to host a toddler birthday party or the best fitness program to keep you feeling healthy, we love to hear what matters to you, and honor those who excel in those areas. Of course, as members of the community ourselves, it also warms our hearts to hear endorsements by and for our neighbors. That is why when you vote for the LOVE Awards, we ask for a thoughtful statement—and get answers like this, for Danielle Foster Creations:

“I am so thankful to have discovered such a wonderful photographer in my area that I feel goes above and beyond to provide me with a memorable experience. I used to dread taking my kids to the mall just to wait in a long line to get pics with Santa. Now, I no longer have to wait in long lines thanks to Danielle’s studio. I just make an appointment, we are treated with respect and the entire staff showed patience as my fussy 4-year-old suddenly became hesitant in front of Santa.”

Or this, for Main Line Fertility:

“From the first phone call we placed to make an appointment with MLF in February 2014 through each and every visit since then, the staff have felt more like family.  They are so invested in each of their patients and on our side every step of the way. Through Dr. Glassner and his team at MLF, we were able to have our dreams come true (twice) and we are forever grateful to them.  Our family is grateful to them every day and we don’t know anyone more deserving for this award.”

These are the types of answers that defy simple vote counting (or ballot box stuffing, for that matter), and why the LOVE Awards are so special to us.

We encourage you to vote and support those businesses and individuals who have made a difference—large or small—in your community, and help honor them at our annual LOVE Awards celebration this May. Voting ends on February 8, so don’t miss out!

In addition to nominating businesses for the awards, we also added Parents of the Year last year, to honor those very special individuals who exemplify the village and community spirit we work to celebrate. Do you have a family member or friend who truly goes above and beyond for their family? Have they had a major professional accomplishment while raising a family? Are they active in the community? Do you know a parent who has overcome a significant personal challenge? If so, let us know and nominate them for Parents of the Year!

We also use the LOVE Awards as a way to give back to our communities. Every year, the LOVE Awards celebration includes fabulous raffle items generously donated by our partners. When you vote for the LOVE Awards, we are asking you to nominate a nonprofit to be the beneficiary of the funds raised at the event raffle at the bottom of the form.

As the name suggests, the LOVE Awards are really just about that—love for our neighbors, our community, and our work. We are so lucky that those three intersect so beautifully for our team, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you on May 2 at World Café Live in Philadelphia. Be on the lookout for ticket sales to begin, and please plan to join us!
