Kids Can Cook: 5-Day Series
July 8–12, noon
Sur la Table, 690 West DeKalb Pike, Suite 2068, King Of Prussia
Each day, kids (ages 8-12) will put on an apron and get cooking, making foods they love and learning kitchen skills. Register online. For teens, look into the five-day series Cooking With Confidence, also happening this week at 3 pm every day.
Trails on Tap: Valley Forge National Historical Park
July 10–14
Valley Forge National Historical Park, 1400 N. Outer Line Dr., King of Prussia
The Schuylkill River Greenways National Heritage Area is partnering with FCM Hospitality, the creators of Philadelphia’s successful Parks on Tap series, and Mainstay Independent Brewing Company, to bring a mobile beer garden to riverside locations this summer. This week, it’s Valley Forge, and definitely plan to come on the 4th, because there will be lots of celebration in the morning, too (see below).
