Hunt eggs, brunch with the Easter Bunny, and celebrate spring at these fun events.

After a quarantined Easter last year, this year is looking brighter! We’re not totally out of the woods yet (so mask up!) but there are some fun events planned, from egg hunts to visits with the Easter Bunny, so let’s hop to it and plan out our (socially distant) celebrations!

Pop-Up Egg Hunts in Radnor

March 20

Clem Macrone Park, Radnor Nature Park, Odorisio Park, and Petrie Park

 

Visit four different parks in Radnor to participate in an on-your-own egg hunt. Eggs and goodies will be available as of 8 am, and will be hidden all over the parks!

Spring Flings and Easter Things on Cricket

March 20, 9:30 am (Rain date: March 27)
6 Cricket Ave., Ardmore

 

Lulu’s Casita is hosting its first outdoor Easter celebration! The morning will be filled with live music with Roots with Ruark, pictures with the Easter Bunny, an Easter egg hunt, make your own fairy garden, snacks and refreshments for the kiddos, and more! Easter Bunny Brunch and Egg Hunt at Elmwood Park Zoo

Weekends from March 20–April 4
Elmwood Park Zoo, 1661 Harding Blvd., Norristown

 

Choose from three weekends, including Easter Sunday. Each brunch will feature an appearance by the Easter Bunny for a photo op, as well as crafts, admission to the zoo, and a brunch buffet. Guests can also enjoy an Easter egg hunt and animal meet-and-greets. Tickets available online.

Children’s Chocolate Easter Workshops at Kilwins

March 20 and 27, April 3

Kilwins, Suburban Square, 85 Coulter Ave., Ardmore

 

Kilwins is hosting extremely limited chocolate-making sessions for kids! Limited to just four people from the same household, each child at the workshop will create 3-4 chocolate confections to take home. Masks and advance online reservations are required.

Teen Flashlight Egg Hunt

March 20, 8 pm

Radnor Trail (Wayne Art Center Entrance), 413 Maplewood Avenue, Wayne

 

Teens (sixth grade and older) are invited to participate in a flashlight egg hunt along a portion of the Radnor Trail, and have the chance to win special prizes. Free; pre-registration required online.

Linvilla Orchards’ Hayrides to Bunnyland

March 20 and 21; and March 27-April 4, 11 am — 4 pm
Linvilla Orchards, 137 W. Knowlton Road, Media

 

Hop aboard a hayride as it carries you through the woods to visit the Easter Bunny’s house where you’ll enjoy a story and have the chance to meet Linvilla’s Easter Bunny for photos and treats. Be sure to bring your own camera and reserve tickets in advance online. Tickets will not be available in person this year, so plan ahead.

Elmo’s Eggstravaganza

Select dates from March 27 – April 18

Sesame Place, 100 Sesame Road, Langhorne

 

Guests can safely visit Sesame Place for a hoppin’ good time with rides, shows, surprise mini parades, and special Easter fun with everyone’s favorite furry friends. Get physically distant photos with the Easter Bunny in his Picture Patch, go on an Easter Egg scavenger hunt, and shake your bunny tail at the Furry Friends Bunny Hop Dance Party! You can also reserve a meal with Elmo, Abby, and the Easter Bunny for even more fun. Book tickets in advance, as capacity is still limited at Sesame Place.

Hayrides to the Easter Bunny at Highland Orchards

March 27 and 28, April 1–3

1000 Marshallton-Thorndale Road, West Chester

 

Take a ride on a socially distanced hay wagon to visit the Easter Bunny in his burrow! You’ll hear a special story and get an egg that you can redeem at the Farm Market for a special treat. Rides leave every half hour; reserve tickets online.

West Chester Railroad’s Easter Bunny Express

March 27 and 28, April 3 and 4

230 E. Market St., West Chester

 

Hop on board the West Chester Railroad and take a 90 minute round trip along the beautiful Chester Creek from West Chester to the historic Glen Mills village. The Easter Bunny will be on board the decorated train handing out treats to all passengers. Tickets available online.

Free Easter Bunny Photos and Petting Zoo

March 27 and April 3; 10 am–2 pm

Smithbridge Gardens, 508 Smithbridge Rd. Glen Mills

 

Enjoy a free petting zoo, and take free (outdoor and socially distanced) pictures with the Easter Bunny! Spring flowers will be on sale as well.

Shady Brook Farm’s Easter Eggstravaganza

March 27 and 28, April 1–3
931 Stony Hill Road, Yardley

 

Take a wagon ride to the “Hunting Grounds” where kids will find 6 candy-filled eggs, get a prize, and meet the Easter Bunny. There will also be go-karts, an obstacle course, inflatables, sports zone, and more in the Festival Field. Tickets available online.

Bunny Bounces at BounceU

April 1 and 2

130 W. Main St., Collegeville

 

Kids will enjoy 60 minutes of bouncing, a visit from the Easter Bunny, and a small Easter treat. Due to safety restrictions, tickets are extremely limited and must be purchased in advance.

Easter Bunny Train

April 2–4
Strasburg Rail Road, 301 Gap Road, Ronks

 

Take a ride through the beautiful rural countryside with the Easter Bunny as your conductor, and meet him on board. On April 4, an Easter meal will also be available aboard the train. All tickets must be purchased in advance online.

Easter Weekend at Longwood Gardens

April 3 and 4
1001 Longwood Road, Kennett Square

 

Easter Weekend is a perfect time to visit Longwood Gardens and celebrate spring. Their new Spring Blooms will just be starting to make their appearance, as well. Advanced tickets highly recommended, as sell-out is likely.

Merion Civic Association Egg Hunt

April 4, 3:30 pm

Merion Tribute House, 625 Hazelhurst Ave., Merion Station

 

Bring your own baskets and masks for an egg hunt on the beautiful grounds of Merion Tribute House! $5 per child, payable on site.

Ardmore Business Association’s Egg Hunt

April 10, 11 am—1 pm

Meet in Schauffele Plaza, Ardmore

 

Join the Easter Bunny and the Ardmore Business Association for the annual Easter Egg Hunt in Ardmore. Begin at Schauffele Plaza where you pick up your map, travel throughout Ardmore hunting for Easter Eggs, and collect candy on the way. End at Schauffele Plaza for prizes and treats! Free; purchase tickets online by April 9.
