I have had the pleasure to be acquainted with Nicole for many years. I’ve watched her turn her passion into a dedicated service to others in the most beautiful and profound way.
To say she is an exceptional doula would be an understatement. Her compassion and appreciation for bringing new life into the world while nurturing and caring for mothers during the transition into motherhood is extraordinary.

She has always been a calming, reassuring voice of reason for me. Her kind words, nurturing nature and delicate, personalized touch is something we can all benefit from during such a remarkable time as childbirth.
With her consistent desire to obtain further knowledge in her field and a true understanding of both natural and assisted childbirth, she is supportive of the decisions and requests of the individuals she works with.

As a previous gestational carrier for a wonderful couple I understand how meaningful even the smallest details can be. So many opportunities to truly appreciate our pregnancy and giving it and the expecting mothers the attention they deserve. Nicole is dedicated to doing just this and I would absolutely recommend her as a doula and supportive body during pregnancy and after.

From our prenatal visits through postpartum, Nicole was extremely knowledgable, kind, and supportive. She brings a calming and friendly presence to the room, which is so important from pregnancy all the way through childbirth. My first birth (before Nicole) was very traumatic and had caused some PTSD. I wasn’t sure if I should try to give birth naturally, or go with a cesarean, as it had been suggested to me. Nicole weighed the options with us and helped us to process the decision. The main reason I chose to try for a natural birth was because of how much confidence Nicole instilled in me as we met together. I left our visits feeling very prepared and excited to give birth again. Our second birth (with Nicole) was absolutely amazing! She was the reason we made it to the hospital on time (it was a quick labor, which I attribute to the Rebozo she gave us!), she helped us to stay calm, she was a constant encourager and support for both my husband and I, talking me through every contraction and coaching us both through the entire experience. I will absolutely be hiring Nicole for our next birth, she is an irreplaceable part of our birth team!

To start, I can’t say enough good things about this sweet lady. Nicole helped me tremendously in navigating some major decisions that would definitely affect the outcome of my birth experience. I found out that my baby was breech at 37 weeks pregnant and was pressured by my hospital to have a c-section, which I did not want, but thankfully she helped me to understand ALL of my options. She talked me through the different scenarios and helped me to prepare for a procedure that would allow my baby to flip head down so I could achieve a vaginal birth which was an important preference of mine. The procedure went well and I was able to have a wonderful, natural birth that I will always remember very fondly. I thank Nicole for her patience as I asked question after question, her sweet motherly nature in guiding me as a first time mom, and the way she really gives every mother confidence in choosing what is right for THEM and their baby. I do credit my wonderful birth and postpartum experience to her and her wisdom. I highly recommend her for anyone looking for a Doula!

Nicole is a wonderful doula. She both assisted with our birth and has also been helping us postpartum; and in both roles she has been absolutely essential.

She is incredibly knowledgeable and is great at pointing out different options that might be out there. My birth was an induction, and she started off the process by helping me use some Spinning Babies techniques to get my baby into a better position for birth. It worked after only a short time, and I am convinced that without that I would have had a much more difficult birth, with a baby who was not in an optimal position.

She was also great about helping me use positions and movement to help move my birth along when things took a while to get going. Again, this made a huge difference to my experience. It meant that I was able to be on a lower dose of medication and was much more comfortable — and that I didn’t have to get through the endurance challenge of a lengthy induction!

She’s also great about helping your other support people with their roles. She helped my husband apply counter pressure to my back, which was incredible. She was such a valuable addition to our team. She doesn’t get in the way of your other support people — instead, she shows them the techniques they can use to help you, and she makes sure their needs are met as well. She is also just a fun person to hang out with, which is very important given that birth can often involve plenty of waiting around!

I used Hypnobabies to prepare for my birth, and Nicole is very knowledgeable about their program. I would highly recommend Hypnobabies to anybody, but having a who is knowledgeable about it is incredibly helpful. Those kinds of doulas can be hard to find. I was really impressed that Nicole even had a backup doula who was also knowledgeable in this area. While we didn’t end up needing the backup doula, it provided me with a lot of extra confidence going in, knowing that those arrangements had been made.

Nicole has also been helping us as an overnight postpartum doula. Any new parent knows how precious sleep is in those first few days and weeks with a baby, and having Nicole here has made an enormous difference. Even though I am exclusively breastfeeding, Nicole helps make sure the baby sleeps as long as possible between feedings, so I have to wake up for feedings as little as possible. She also does laundry all night long! I’ll tell you, there is nothing like waking up after a good night’s sleep to a happy baby and freshly folded laundry! She is clearly great with babies, and having someone we trust so much means we can truly relax knowing our baby is safe and happy all night long. Her services have truly been an investment in our family’s health and happiness, and I would hire her a million times over (and plan to for future babies!).

What an incredible experience we had with Nicole. We got diagnosed with IUGR around 30 weeks. I was so scared of all the unknowns. Luckily, Nicole walked us through everything we needed to know about IUGR and how this birth might be different. We felt so supported in this scary time. Luckily, I got to deliver vaginally and had a beautiful healthy little girl. We are beyond grateful that Nicole was patient with us. I would call her with tears in my eyes with fears of giving birth. I felt so comforted and cared for. I can’t recommend a better doula.
