If you’re looking for a fabulous way to close out 2019 and still make it home in time for nap, join Main Line Parent and local band Alex and The Kaleidoscope for the New Year’s Eve Family Jam at the Ardmore Music Hall.

Bandleader Alex Mitnick tells us, “This is our fifth year doing the New Year’s Family Jam, and we’re thrilled to have the Main Line Parent community on board to make it the best one yet. We’re having a party and you are all invited to come celebrate and jam with your kids!”

The party starts at 10 am December 31, with a joyful countdown to noon so you can celebrate with your whole family.

The Emmy-winning children’s entertainers Alex and the Kaleidoscope will bring their unique and positive sound to the party, making it a can’t-miss event for families. Parents will appreciate the funky complexity of the music and smart lyrics that don’t talk down to the audience, while kids will love the fun and catchy songs like “Dino Dig” and “Mama’s in the Kitchen.”

You’re sure to be singing and dancing (and laughing) while also learning fun facts and life lessons.

The party doesn’t stop after the interactive concert, because a DJ will be spinning until 1 pm so you can keep dancing. Kids will also enjoy activities like face painting, arts and crafts, and more to keep them busy the whole time. And while they’re having fun, you can hit up the cash bar (after you win a game of rock-paper-scissors with your partner to see who has to drive home, obviously).

And if all that dancing makes you hungry, there will also be snacks available for purchase.
