Bryn Mawr Day 2019, now in its ninth year, is the Main Line’s #1 Family Fun Day. The event is held rain or shine the first Saturday after Labor Day in the parking lot across from Ludington Library. Bryn Mawr Day is more than just a one-day event, it’s a diverse group consisting of individuals from area businesses, institutions, restaurants, cultural facilities and others who share their passion, vision and concerns for keeping Bryn Mawr, and surrounding areas, prosperous, vital and joyous for visitors, guests and residents to enjoy.

Now in its eighth year, Bryn Mawr Day is one of the hippest, happiest days on the Main Line, where family-fun is the focus. From 9 am to 2 pm, there is FREE music, food, tours, rides and more. The initial partnership among the Bryn Mawr 100 institutions, the Bryn Mawr Business District and Civic Association as well as Lower Merion Township, has broadened to showcase talent and entertainment. “A Taste of Bryn Mawr” showcases the new and diverse cuisine and restaurants shaping the Bryn Mawr landscape.

History Tours by the Bryn Mawr Rotary Club are at 10 am, 11 am, and 12 pm with busing provided by Bryn Mawr College. Tickets are available the day of the event at the Bryn Mawr Rotary Club booth. Each bus tour lasts approximately 45 minutes and will take you around to historical sites of Bryn Mawr while providing audio from Bobbie McElroy.

Bryn Mawr businesses will also be offering food and shopping incentives. Plus additional refreshments by Boy Scout Pack 19 with hot dogs, pretzels, and water, Bryn Mawr Trust will have an ice cream truck, The Shear Touch will host the Pink Lemonade Stand Challenge, Hope’s Cookies, Kona Ice, and MADI, LLC will be on site.
