Mother’s Day is coming up, and whether you want to celebrate the mothers in your life or enjoy some quality time with your kids, there are so many ways to celebrate. From brunch to crafting and much more, here are some special events around town to make your day memorable.
Mother’s Day Art Workshop: Fruity Flower Pots
May 4, 1—2:30 pm
Wayne Art Center, 413 Maplewood Avenue, Wayne
Using kiln-fired clay, children and their adult guest will work collaboratively to create unique spring flower pots. Works will be fired at Wayne Art Center and ready for pick up in approximately two weeks. Recommended for participants ages 6 and older. Tickets available online.
Mother and Me: Jewelry Workshop

Celebrate Mother’s Day early and create a memory (and gift) that will last a lifetime! Ms. Kate Hochner teaches participants you how to form pretty flowers and leaves using polymer clay, then how to fashion a unique necklace. Tickets available online.
