Where to Enjoy Ardmore Restaurant Week With Kids

Deals at Ardmore restaurants run from July 16--29! Here's where to go with your family.

Ardmore Restaurant Week is coming up July 16—29, offering three-course meals for $15, $25 or $35. Restaurant Week is always a great opportunity to try something new on the cheaper side, but if you begin to factor in paying a babysitter, suddenly that discounted prix fixe becomes less…well, discounted.  Luckily there are some great casual options, as well as those that welcome kids, but still give you a special night out. To sweeten the deal, parking is free after 6 pm and on Sundays during Restaurant Week. Here are our top picks for enjoying Ardmore Restaurant Week as a family.

PokéOno

59 W. Lancaster Ave.

We love this Hawaiian-inspired casual joint, and their Restaurant Week menu gives diners a lot of freedom (great for picky eaters) in providing two customized bowls for $25—you pick the rice, protein, sauce, and unlimited toppings! The meal also starts with freshly made tortilla chips, so what’s not to like?

Hummus

18 Greenfield Ave.

The laidback and deceptively simple atmosphere is home to some of the most authentic and delicious Mediterranean fare in the Philly area. For $25, enjoy a hummus starter, a filling and flavorful platter, and a sweet dessert of baklava.

Snap Custom Pizza

4 Station Rd.

For just $15, choose two options from pizza, salad, and grain bowl (either signature or custom), made to order with fresh ingredients. This Restaurant Week deal starts after 3 pm, so it’s also perfect for an early post-camp meal!

Mikado Thai Pepper

64 E. Lancaster Ave.

This long-standing Asian fusion spot is always a favorite. For kids who like a little spice and are more adventurous with their palates, this is a perfect choice for a more upscale Restaurant Week experience with kids in tow. The $25 Restaurant Week dinner gives diners both Japanese and Thai options, including curry, noodles, dumplings, and more. The dessert choices of mochi ice cream or fried ice cream are both incredible (and fun) as well.

Besito

105 Coulter Ave.

You’ll love the upscale Mexican vibe, and getting a deal means you don’t have to feel bad about adding on a signature margarita or two. Your kids will love the churros for dessert, with the little worry dolls as a fun surprise when the check comes. And everyone will love the side of elotes, so definitely go for that! $25 gets you three delicious courses, with accessible choices kids will like for each one. Plus, while this place is on the nicer side, they’re surprisingly welcoming and even have highchairs.

Marokko

54 E. Lancaster Ave.

A newcomer to the Ardmore dining scene, Marokko brings much-anticipated Moroccan cuisine to Lancaster Avenue. $35 gets you three courses—we recommend a tajine for kids—ending with sweet baklava. Go on the early side, and try to get a table on the patio!
