Where to Enjoy Main Line Today Restaurant Week With Kids

Deals at Main Line restaurants run from August 23-September 5! Here's where to go with your family.

Main Line Today Restaurant Week is coming up August 23—September 5, offering special three-course prix fixe menus for lunch $24.95) and dinner ($36.95). Options include indoor dining, outdoor dining, and even take-out, so you can participate at any level of comfort and contact. This 14-day culinary celebration will showcase dozens of restaurants across Montgomery, Delaware, and Chester counties; and it is a great opportunity to try something new on the cheaper side. Of course, paying a babysitter makes that discounted prix fixe somewhat less of a steal, so we’ve put together our top picks for enjoying Main Line Today Restaurant Week as a family!

Pizzeria Vetri

138 W. Lancaster Ave., Devon

The beautiful Devon Yard is home to quite a few Resaurant Week picks, with its unique location and outdoor dining options. The most kid-friendly of all the Devon spots is definitely Pizzeria Vetri, and this location gets extra points for being bigger and more open than its city predecessors. Their wood-fired pizzas are sure to please everyone in the family (picky kids can stick with the safe, classic Margherita), and starters like meatballs and salads round out the meal nicely. For added fun, kids can watch their pizza being made in the giant oven through the plexiglass, and parents can order wine and cocktails to accompany their meal, including a summer cocktail featuring house-made limoncello.

Lola’s Garden

Suburban Square, 51 St. Georges Rd.

This new Suburban Square spot was one of the biggest openings of the year– both literally and figuratively. From the people who brought the city Harper’s Garden (and so many fabulous outdoor options like Parks on Tap to the Cherry Street Pier beer garden), FCM Hospitality has transformed the Suburban Square courtyard into a trellis of twinkle lights and craft cocktails. And even though this spot will definitely give you the feeling of a special meal out, they also have a kids’ menu and highchairs, so your little ones can enjoy chicken fingers while you live it up with a cocktail flight add-on. Everyone wins!

Revival Pizza Pub

240 Windgate Drive, Suite A7, Chester Springs

Come for the pizza, stay for the fun family-friendly vibes in Weatherstone Town Center (including lots of outdoor dining). In addition to pizza, Revival serves salads, pastas, tacos, and crowd-pleasing appetizers made with fresh and local ingredients. And for grownups, there’s a full bar featuring craft cocktails, drafts, and wine.

Al Pastor

Eagleview Town Center, 560 Wellington Square, Exton

Eagleview Town Center’s modern Mexican eatery features several varieties of delicious tacos, nachos, salads, and more popular dishes. Their new outdoor dining area is great for summer vibes, complete with cactus decor. And they even have a kids’ menu if Restaurant Week offerings are too overwhelming for picky little ones. Their margaritas are also a must– order a pitcher while you’re at it.

Founding Farmers

255 Main Street, King of Prussia

With their huge and varied menu, everyone is sure to find something they like at Founding Farmers. Though they do not have an explicit “kids’ menu,” they have many “kid-approved” items like pizzas, burgers, pasta, and so much more. Even better, they are farmer-owned and, almost all of their menu items are made from scratch using high-quality ingredients from American family farms. They’re located in King of Prussia Town Center, so try to go on a Friday night and catch a free outdoor concert to complete your night.

DiFabio’s Market & Tap

1243 N. Providence Rd., Media

While they’re offering both lunch and dinner, DiFabio’s Restaurant Week lunch menu is more kid-friendly with options like Pepperoni Knots, Cheese Steak Eggrolls, and an ice cream sundae with all the toppings. The restaurnt has a fabulous gourmet specialty market full of prepared dinners, homemade baked goods, and even beer, so definitely swing by after lunch and load up on goodies for the rest of the day.

Ryan Christopher’s BYOB

245 Woodbine Avenue, Narberth

We love their laidback vibe and menu, but Ryan Christopher’s got even better this year with their new outdoor dining area!
