I absolutely love what the Meridee Winters School of Music has to offer! The faculty at the school are note only passionate about music and sharing it with others, they are devoted to ensuring they meet the needs of both students and teachers, creating a positive learning environment for all. Having been classically trained in piano as a child, as an adult I see the huge benefit of the MW method and how it is able to connect with not only new learners but also for musicians with years of experience. It encourages confidence to perform, exploration of your own musical ideas, and takes concepts that could either be confusing or boring for some, and makes them interesting and fun helping students to retain and learn important musical skills.

My 2 daughters have been taking lessons with Meridee for years, and I can’t recommend them enough! They both started piano when they were in elementary school, and when they later wanted to change to other instruments, the school was supportive in finding new teachers for them. Now, my 13-year-old is playing guitar and my 15-year-old is taking voice lessons with the same incredible teacher! They both LOVE their lessons with Miss Kaitlin, and they’ve improved so much!
Their in-home lessons have been a perfect fit for our busy schedules. My girls have two separate sports schedules, so having our lessons in the home is a must for my family. The “backstage” office team has also been super friendly and helpful over the years, and they have always quickly answered my (sometimes silly) questions. On top of all of this, they have some fantastic shows throughout the year! We always look forward to their Year End Show, and recently, my girls have been recording music videos for their original songs.
This is no ordinary music school!! We are thrilled with the lessons provided by Meridee Winters

We’ve had a great experience so far and truly appreciate the care and enthusiasm your school brings to music education. Ben Brantley is an awesome teacher. He is patient, encouraging, and very knowledgeable, and he makes each lesson engaging and enjoyable. This music school has a tested and unique approach to delivering music education. It’s student based and they take time to carefully find you a teacher and make sure the program for your child is tuned to their interests and needs. The many teachers we have worked with have all been great in their own ways and my child who started at 6 years old going on 7 is now 15 and not only plays piano, she knows guitar, sings and writes her own songs. I can’t thank them enough for fostering her creative spirit and love of music.

They are so thoughtful about their clients in everything they do. They’re organized, friendly and very knowledgeable in their teachings, and they always go above and beyond for their clients. They even will go to clients houses to teach their lessons so the families don’t have to drive to the school so it’s easiest on the families of anyone who wants to learn from them. I’ve never seen a music school that would go so out of their way like that to help accommodate what is the absolute best for their clients!

They work really hard to make the lessons joyful and tailored to the boys’ interests (like talking about video game composing and then writing their own “Minecraft” theme).
