When I found Connected Doulas, their matching process felt both professional and informative. After interviewing with Rhianna, we immediately knew she was the perfect fit.
We truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Rhianna. She provided us with an array of resources and anytime we reached out with questions or concerns, she responded within moments. And when labor began, she arrived at our side at a moment’s notice. Her support was above and beyond anything we could have imagined. My husband and I welcomed our first baby in October 2025 and while we were excited, we were also incredibly nervous. Since our families were unable to be present for the labor and delivery, a friend suggested looking into local doulas who would be able to provide support before, during, and after the birth experience. So I did some research and found Connected Doulas.
The Connected Doulas website was easy to navigate and we were matched with two prospective doulas within 24 hours of me completing the online form. Colleen and Rebecca, both of the women that I spoke to were incredibly warm, knowledgeable, and encouraging and made me and my husband feel seen and heard. We wound up working with Rebecca as our primary doula and she was nothing but professional, kind, and patient when answering our questions and discussing our fears and concerns with the birth. She was also such a crucial part of the actual birth experience and helped me and my husband through some extremely difficult and challenging moments when I was in labor. She also took the time to visit post partum and still occasionally follows up with us to see how our little boy is doing. We are truly grateful for her care and support!

I was looking for a Doula that I was able to afford as we just bought a house and planned on birthing at a birthing center. At Connected Doula they worked with my budget and offered me a newer Doula that would be able to support us without extending our budget. We matched with Daria Bennett and she was phenomenal, even though new (we were her 3rd birth I believe). She took her time with us for each visit, we never felt rushed! She looked into things for us and was super responsive. During our daughter’s birth (it was an intense one!!) she was absolutely amazing, helping me and my husband so much!! I don’t know how I’d have done it without her!! She was able to reduce some of my pain, was so calm and caring, and even managed to take a ton of pictures and videos (which I had no idea she did while birthing – but I requested them prior and she did it without me realizing)!! We feel truly blessed that we had the opportunity to work with Daria. We are still in contact with her to update her here and there on our baby girl, and to ask her if she’ll potentially help us again with the next baby sometime!! Daria made this experience a lot better, more manageable, and supported all our decisions (I wanted to go all natural without any interventions – and it happened just like that!).

Connected Transitions was an incredible source of support and guidance to help us bring our newborn girl – our first baby – home. They provided birth doula support leading up to and during delivery, and provided incredible and personalized support as well when after we got home. The whole team holds a wealth of knowledge about the birthing process and caring for a newborn, and brought positive and supportive energy to every stage in which we worked with them. They also helped us to navigate breastfeeding as well, such an important but also stressful part of the newborn stage.
