Where to Enjoy Ardmore Restaurant Week With Kids

Deals at Ardmore restaurants run from May 6-16! Here's where to go with your family.

Ardmore Restaurant Week is coming up May 6—16, offering $20, $25, and $30 prix fixe lunch and dinner menus. Restaurant Week is always a great opportunity to try something new on the cheaper side, and this year options include indoor dining, outdoor dining, and even take-out (plus cocktails to go) so you can participate at any level of comfort and contact.  To sweeten the deal, parking is free after 6 pm and on Sundays during Restaurant Week. So mask up, pack extra hand sanitizer, and set your reservations! Here are our top picks for enjoying Ardmore Restaurant Week as a family.

Lola’s Garden

Suburban Square, 51 St. Georges Rd.

This brand-new Suburban Square spot was one of the biggest openings of the year– both literally and figuratively. From the people who brought the city Harper’s Garden (and so many fabulous outdoor options like Parks on Tap to the Cherry Street Pier beer garden), FCM Hospitality has transformed the Suburban Square courtyard into a trellis of twinkle lights and craft cocktails. And even though this spot will definitely give you the feeling of a special meal out, they also have a kids’ menu and highchairs, so your little ones can enjoy chicken fingers while you live it up with a cocktail flight add-on. Everyone wins!

Sophie’s BBQ

64 Rittenhouse Place

Newcomer to Ardmore, Sophie’s BBQ is already a new favorite with their elevated take on barbecue, and is even planning a special menu to coincide with National BBQ Day on May 16. Choose from dine-in, takeout, or delivery.

Buena Vista

5 W. Lancaster Ave.

Buena Vista is offering a three-course $30 menu for dine-in, takeout, and delivery. After your choice of flavorful Mexican dishes, end your meal with flan or tres leches cake for dessert. Bonus: they even hand-painted high chairs!

Marokko

54 E. Lancaster Ave.

Marokko brings Moroccan cuisine to Lancaster Avenue—we recommend a tajine for kids—ending with sweet baklava. Go on the early side, and try to get a table on the patio or their new sidewalk dining. This year, you can also take advantage of their deals with delivery or takeout.

Parlour

18 W. Lancaster Ave.

In a unique twist, this gourmet ice cream shop joins the line-up this year with a special sweet treat for families to enjoy: Happy Hour! During Restaurant Week, all purchases will be 50% off between 5 and 6 pm from Monday – Friday. It’s a sweet enough deal that you can go every single day if you want to…. and no judgment here if you want to.
