Show Some Love to Small Local Businesses Around the Main Line!

Support for small businesses is important right now!

In recent weeks our economy has seen some drastic changes, and many businesses are being told to close in order to help decrease the spread of the novel coronavirus. It’s hard to be a small business even in good times and here at Main Line Parent we think of our Business Members & Friends as family. We asked them to share with us what measures they are taking to ensure they can keep serving their clients during this time. We think they came up with some really great ideas, and hope that you are able to support them! Another good suggestion is to just buy a gift card/certificate from a small local business- buy it directly from them, not through a third party, so that they get an influx of income now and you get to enjoy their service at a later date. Think of it as a really small small business loan! Every little bit counts!

30 Main Bistro

Owner Mike DiDomenico has come up with a truly creative offer for our community. He is able to place orders for supplies through his distributors and is willing to order things that people are in need of as well. You can contact 30 Main to order things like toilet paper, sanitizer, and even necessities like milk- just be prepared to get them in bulk like a restaurant would. Pick up would be available at the restaurant. 30 Main is also offering prepared meal pick up options- prepackaged meals that are ready to heat and serve for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. A percentage of these orders will be used to provide meals for people in need as well. Please call 610-220-2367 or email 30mainevents@gmail.com. Takeout and curbside pickup are available, with family dinners being a popular option right now! (But trust me- order the crabcakes! Delish and gluten-free!!)

After The Stork

They are following very strict guidelines and protocols to make sure their doulas stay healthy and to keep the families and babies they are working with safe. Please contact them to find out how After the Stork can help you transition to life with a newborn. They would love to support you during this time!
