Young Illustrators: Virginia Lee Burton
March 12 @ 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm
For grade K–2 (firm).
Virginia Lee Burton was a multi-award-winning author and illustrator of books such as Katy and the Big Snow, Mike Mulligan and His Steam Shovel, and The Little House. Using colored pencils, you will learn how to draw basic seasonal indicators like flowers, apples, and leaves to create a four-seasons quadriptych* based on illustrations from her book, The Little House.
*A quadriptych is a type of polyptych, which is a painting or drawing which is divided into sections, or panels.
Registration is required.
