The Philly Bookstore Crawl

Children’s Book World will be part of the Philadelphia Bookstore Crawl this year! The first three dozen children to visit Children’s Book World in Haverford on August 26 get a free book of their choice (books generously donated by SEOM Interactive). In addition there will be drawing games with special illustrator/picture book guests at 11 am and a YA/Teen panel, plus games and food at 2 pm.
The Philadelphia Bookstore Crawl is a yearly (at least, that’s the plan!) celebration of Philadelphia’s (and the surrounding area’s) wildly vibrant and wonderful bookstore scene, the last Saturday of every August. The concept is simple. On the date of the crawl, at the end of the summer, participating bookstores around town are hosting unique and special events. Discounted books? Exciting giveaways? In-store author signings? You’ll see!
