The Philadelphia Chinese Lantern Festival

Leopards, tigers, and dragons, oh my! The 2023 Philadelphia Chinese Lantern Festival returns to Franklin Square June 21–August 13. Open at 6 pm nightly, the festival features a never-before-seen array of 1,500 individual, illuminated creations assembled into 34 larger-than-life displays. In addition to the illuminated lanterns, festival admission includes three main stage live performances every night, including face-changing, jar juggling, Jiu-Jitsu acrobatics, plate spinning, Kung Fu tea, and folk dance. Food and beverages are also available for purchase inside the festival.
Timed tickets are required on Fridays and Saturdays. You can also purchase combo tickets for the Lantern Festival + Parx Liberty Carousel + Philly Mini Golf. Find out more.
