Read to August, the Dog
April 9 @ 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm
For children entering kindergarten – 4th grade. Practice your reading skills with August, the Reading German Shepherd at the library.
Plan to arrive 5–10 minutes before your time slot, bring your favorite stories to practice reading, and meet in the children’s department. (They also have plenty of books to choose from there; after all, they are a library, you know!)
If more than one child in the family plans on reading, please sign up for individual time slots for each child. That way everyone will have enough time to spend with sweet, August.
