Plowing Day at Colonial Pennsylvania Plantation

In the 18th century, farmers relied on draft (animal) power to do the first step necessary for growing crops: plowing. Visit the farm as they plow their fields for our winter barley, wheat, and rye crops with help from our friends and team of Percherons from Stockton Village Farm. Learn the steps from plow to food and help them process last year’s wheat and rye into flour for their hearth cooks.
Admission is $10 for adults, $6 for children, ages 4–12 and seniors 65+; free for children under 4.
Free for members. The farm is open from 11 am to 4 pm with last admission at 3 pm.
