Grandfriends Day at the J: Candle Decorating Workshop and Hanukkah Cookie Decorating Class

A Day of Intergenerational Fun! Join the Kaiserman JCC for one or both programs! Stay for the whole day and enjoy light bites between programs. Grandfriends Day at the J is geared towards children and a significant older adult in their life such as a grandparent or grandparent-aged family member or friend.
- GENERATIONS OF LIGHT: An Intergenerational Hanukah Experience with collaboration of Folkshul – A Jewish Sunday School and Community
2:15–3:30 pm
Facilitator: Jennifer Greenfield
Come decorate candles to foster creativity, communication and shared experiences among participants of all ages to celebrate the holidays.
- GEMS COOKING STUDIO: Hanukkah Cookie Decorating Class for all ages
4–5:15 pm
Instructor: Scott Noye, Owner – Chef Dad’s Table
In this fun and relaxed environment, you will work together hands-on and use your creativity to decorate delicious Hanukkah cookies. They will show you a variety of decorating techniques and a few Hanukkah dessert surprises. All participants will leave with a special tasty gift bag.
Cost is $20 and registration is required.
