Gladwyne – Solar Eclipse Viewing
April 8 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Join the Gladwyne Library staff at the Gladwyne Park entrance (980 Merion Sq Road) for a viewing of the total solar eclipse. They will hand out solar eclipse glasses and enjoy solar eclipse activities and crafts. Bring a blanket or something comfortable to sit on. Viewing starts around 2:08 p.m., and the full view is around 3:20 p.m.
The total phase of this solar eclipse is not visible to us, but it can be observed as a partial solar eclipse. The Moon covers a large portion of the Sun, so this is a spectacular sight! Viewing is weather permitting.
Registration is required so that they can inform you of any changes to this program. Please only register your child(ren).
