Free Family Fundays at the Kimmel: Musicopia Featuring Minas

Ignite imaginations with an array of enchanting performances and hands-on activities during Family Fundays at the Kimmel. On Sunday, March 19, Musicopia takes you on a Brazilian adventure in music, featuring the band Minas! Participants are introduced to the culture and music of Brazil through the samba (the ethnic music of Brazil), bossa nova (a hybrid style created from samba and jazz), and lambada styles of music, as the unique dance rhythms and culture of this Portuguese-speaking country are explored. The performance is free, but please register if you plan to attend. The event takes place inside the Kimmel Center.
