Early Morning Owl Prowl (Adults & Teens)
January 6 @ 6:00 am - 8:00 am
For adults and teens ages 15–17.
Join Tyler in hiking out in the early morning with guides Sarah Boucas Neto and David Eberly to see owls in the Pinetum, as well as some areas outside the deer exclusion fence. They’ll be on the lookout for Great Horned, Screech, and Barred Owls. Less likely but always possible are Saw-whet and Long-eared owls. If the sky cooperates, all will be treated to a waning crescent moon at the start of the walk. Listening to owls calling in the moonlight is an experience not to be missed.
PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED. Registration closes at 6 pm the evening before the program, so make sure to register on time.
