The Parent Collective
Description
Inspired by the UK’s National Childbirth Trust and based on our founder's experience giving birth in London, The Parent Collective's model combines evidence-based prenatal education with a built-in support network. They group expectant parents by due date and neighborhood so expectant parents leave class with confidence and community. Classes running in Manayunk and Havertown.
Each 4-week series—taught by nurses, midwives and IBCLCs—covers labor, delivery, feeding, newborn care, and postpartum transition. But what really sets them apart is the focus on connection. Parents leave not only informed, but surrounded by people who truly get it.

The Parent Collective has been an invaluable resource as I navigate being a first time mom while also being new to the area. The classes were high quality and informative and led me to have a birth where I felt safe and had agency over my choices. The other participants in the group were fantastic and have provided not only companionship but resources too.
