I’ve honestly become hooked on a few of their products, and I find myself learning how to be a better consumer — and even a more thoughtful homeowner — every time I stop in. It’s helped me align everyday choices with the values I actually want to live by.

Kimberly and Alisha bring so much heart to what they’re building. Their energy and authenticity make change feel motivating, not intimidating. SHIFT isn’t just a shop — it’s a steady, positive anchor in the neighborhood that helps build community.

SHIFT is one of my favorite stores, not just because of their mission of sustainability, but their commitment to the community. Their events and pop-ups always feature local vendors and provide a fun way to reuse/save waste. And their product offering is awesome – I love all their cleaning products!!

SHIFT is not only an incredible sustainable store, it’s a cozy warm space with endless good vibes and creative offerings. Its offerings are limitless and provides a community safe haven to a variety of workshops for living a sustainable lifestyle, as well as workshops to take care of yourself. I have provided an art therapy workshop as an art therapist and rented their back nook for a couple of years for my wonderful art therapy participants. This store fills up your cup in more than obvious ways. It’s a gem, a sanctuary, and became a home to me and my practice before moving to NJ. I’m forever grateful to Kimberley and Elisha for their kindness and undeniable love they pour into SHIFT, its products, customers, etc. Ps. It smells delicious and has incredible wet and dry goods!!! SHIFT makes things better, period. Women owned, empowered, and a store that plants goodness, light, and joy EVERY DAY. So grateful I was part of this store and its journey. It’s undeniable the positive impact SHIFT has had on the Narberth community and has shifted my mindset to be more sustainable in my own life. Congrats to SHIFT on truly being the best store ever.

Literally, figuratively, exponentially….
I have had the great fortune of watching this movement, SHIFT- Sustainable Goods & Services, take shape over the past decade.

Co-owner and Co-founder, Kimberley Bezak, is someone that I have been lucky enough to call a friend. Her intense passion for zero-waste living and environmental sustainability and preservation has literally infiltrated my consciousness.

I first became acutely aware of her vocation to the Earth, 10 years ago, when we were both on the NarbEarth Day Committee. Kimberley humbly mentioned that she and her family of 4, (2 of which were toddlers at the time), only produced two bags of actual trash per year. This left me in a state of curious disbelief with the desire to learn how this was even possible.

Over the years, she has led by example, inspired and educated countless neighbors, friends, and community members in countless ways. Before the pandemic she shared her zero waste journey at The Narberth Library. Eleisha Eagle was in the audience that evening and it was kismet. The two would share their combined and varied gifts and mutual dedication to sustainable living. This cosmic connection would ultimately give birth to what is now a thriving place of hospitality, inspiration, education, possibility, and essentially HOPE! I can remember weekly meetings they would have during the pandemic to dream and plan this joint venture; relentless and tireless in their mission to see this dream realized.
I can not wait to see the SHIFTS that continue into the next decade!

SHIFT has become essential for our household. We refill all our soaps, shampoos, conditioners, deodorant, face wash, floss, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and general bathroom and kitchen needs there (in addition to other odds and ends). They’ve also become one of our go-to spots to shop for gifts for birthdays and holidays, a great spot to put together little ‘care packages’ for friends and family, and to browse some of their reclaimed cups, glasses, pitchers, shakers, and other older tableware. And everyone who works there is wonderful — friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and dedicated to the store’s mission of helping people live more sustainable lives. Highly recommend!

Hands down my favorite place to shop—not just on the Main Line, but anywhere. Kimberley, Eleisha, and the staff, are incredibly knowledgeable and welcoming, and the space itself is calm, beautiful, and a joy to be in. Whether you’re deeply committed to low-waste living or just starting to make more intentional, ethical choices, this shop makes it easy and inspiring. I’m a regular for refills like soap, shampoo, and laundry detergent, and I always love browsing their thoughtfully curated selection of secondhand clothing, home décor, and sustainable goods. Truly a gem and a meaningful community partner, and so grateful they are in Narberth!.

I don’t know how to express how much Shift adds to the Narberth community. There’s the obvious: our family (and many other families!) produces far less waste and is inspired to think more intentionally about our carbon footprint. But Shift gives so much more than just that. Everyone who works there has so much heart, and it is a joy to know them. They also put on incredible and fascinating events that ties the community together beautifully. They support local artists. And walking into Shift just feels like taking a breath of fresh air.

Shift has changed lives and will continue to change lives, and we are deeply grateful that they are here in Narberth!

Not only is SHIFT a breath of fresh air and a lovely shopping experience, but I’ve enjoyed all of the items I’ve purchased there ranging from local chocolate to laundry detergent, and such great peace of mind to know everything has been vetted by the owners to be the highest quality, locally sourced and environmentally friendly.
