Harmony Kids Playhouse

Harmony Kids Playhouse is a gem in the heart of Media! Our one year old son, who is shy and slow to warm up, has a BLAST when he goes. The space is unique, energizing, vibrant, and clean. It’s small enough to have an intimate feel, while still feeling like there’s a ton to explore for each child. Miss Tai could not be any more welcoming and committed to making this space as perfect as possible, and we feel so lucky to have it (and her!) as part of our community.

My daughter loves it here! There are so many unique and fun toys, and the place is vibrant and clean. Tai is amazing with the kids they absolutely adore her. Thank you, Tai for creating such a special space!

We first checked out Ms. Tai’s music and movement classes at one of her local Delco library appearances. My grandkids had a great time, and she is an AMAZINGLY positive teacher. Then we signed up my granddaughter for a few of Tai’s small group music class sessions at age 2 while her older brother was in preschool. She went from timidly interested in watching the other kids for the first few classes to randomly leading a long parade of kids in later classes. It was great to see her self-confidence measurably increase. Some of that was natural, but some of it was due to Tai’s coaching.

Well, that was nothing compared to Harmony Kids Playhouse. Every single detail of the place was meticulously planned. I’m not sure how many times we have been there. A dozen, maybe? Probably would have been there a dozen more times if my grandkids would stop giving each other headcolds. They have never been ready to leave at the end of their 90 minute session.

There are two rooms, and Tai will probably yell at me for not describing them properly if she happens to read this review. 🙂 The room at the entrance is what I think of as the 0-2 room. It’s fully carpeted and includes a treehouse, slide, ballpit, children’s book library, kitchen set, costume area, and probable a bunch of other things. My 4.5 year-old enjoys the room just as much as his younger sister, by the way.

The other room has a wood floor and includes a projection system that projects educational interactive games onto an area of the floor (say, stomping grapes to make grape juice, or shooting a hockey puck or soccer ball in to a goal; there are least dozens of games — maybe hundreds, not sure). There is a pneumatic ball tube, an arts and crafts station, color changing cube chairs, fun stuff to play with on the walls, and a bunch more stuff. If the the other room is the physical play room, then this room is the brain room.

What is Ms. Tai doing while the kids are playing? Well, she will chat with the parents for a bit, sure. But, if the kids are playing, there is a high degree of probability that Tai is sitting on the floor playing with them.

I give Tai and HKP an unqualified recommendation. My wife and daughter would say the exact same thing. You should go there.

We cannot reccomend HKP enough! Miss Tai has created the most nurturing, thoughtful and educational play space that our 18 month old daughter adores. The classes and events offered are top notch and unmatched. HKP is not just a place, but a welcoming and vibrant home away from home that we will forever be grateful for.

We absolutely love HKP and Mrs. Tai!! My son started her classes at the community center before he was 1, and we have followed her journey ever since. She has came to our birthday parties as entertainment and now we get to attend her classes and free play. This is exactly what Media needed! You won’t find someone like Mrs. Tai 🩷

We have known Miss Tai for 3 years now, and every time we pay Harmony a visit she ALWAYS welcomes us with open arms. Miss Tai is the most genuine and kind business owner I know, and she treats everyone as family. Truly a pleasure to have her in our community to bond over motherhood, local happenings and all the in between!

We LOVE Miss Tai and Harmony Kids Playhouse. When my toddler sees me each morning she says, “Mommy, I think we should go to Miss Tai’s place!” And if she doesn’t have preschool that day, we usually do! Tai did an amazing job of creating a perfect play space for toddlers. We also cannot recommend her music classes enough! These classes really brought my shy, introverted girl to life! I love watching her joy during Tai’s classes and open play.

Tai has done an amazing job with her place. Fantastic location for young children (and even slightly older kids love it too)!

My almost 3-year-old daughter took classes with Ms. Tai before she opened this location and we love her energy and enthusiasm for all things fun. We’ve been a handful of times since HKP has opened and my daughter had a blast. The place is so artfully designed and thoughtfully set up. It’s truly fun for kids from 0 to 4 and a nice way to spend some quality time with your kid and let them get some fun time in with other little ones. Definitely worth a visit, this place is so special!
