Dr. Meredith Murphy [pronouns she/her] is a licensed acupuncturist in the state of Pennsylvania and certified as a Diplomate of Acupuncture by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She received her Master of Acupuncture degree from the New England School of Acupuncture in Massachusetts, the oldest school of acupuncture in the country and a leader in the field of traditional Asian medicine. She additionally received her doctorate in acupuncture from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine.
Dr. Murphy strives to look at every patient as an individual and treat the whole person. Acupuncture can treat a myriad of health concerns and conditions and the office would be happy to answer any questions you may have about how acupuncture can help you or a loved one.

I have been seeing Meredith for several years now for acupuncture therapy. She is the consummate professional, and is so kind and personable. Each time I leave her office, my stress levels are greatly reduced. And any body part, such as my lower back, are addressed during my acupuncture services, and I feel much relief from my lower back pain.

Out of desperation after taking anti-inflammatories and heating pads for a pinched nerve which was crippling in ways that prevented a full night’s sleep over a 3 month period, Meredith Murphy resolved the issue in two visits. Since then, I have returned to her for various other issues which she was able to treat effectively. She is a master of her craft, very professional and super friendly. I highly recommend her for a great number of ailments she can treat with the additional benefit of avoiding medications.

I found Meredith as I was trying to get pregnant with my second baby. I was nervous to try acupuncture, but after reading all of the testimonials, I figured I would give it a shot. Meredith was amazing and exceeded every single expectation I had. She always made me feel comfortable, was extremely knowledgeable, and I got pregnant after only a couple of sessions with her. I continued to see her during the first 13 weeks of my pregnancy, and she helped to relieve all of my first trimester symptoms- especially the nausea! I would highly recommend Meredith and can’t wait to go back closer to delivery. She is simply the best!

I have been going to see Dr. Meredith Murphy for acupuncture for around 13 years now. She’s helped me with so many things and gotten me off medication for: migraines, allergies, acid reflux, nausea, muscle pain and inflammation and overall stress. Years ago, I brought my then nine year old daughter [to see her for migraines]. After one treatment I asked Dr. Murphy when should I bring her back and she said I may not have to. Six months later my daughter had one more migraine and never had once since; she’s now twenty-two. I also noticed my daughter was extremely calm for days after the treatments and she (and often I) fall asleep during the treatment. Plus, she’s just so nice and down to earth and kind, in addition to being extremely knowledgable in her field.
