ANEWAY For Purpose is doing something that too few organizations have the vision and heart to attempt: truly solving the employment gap for adults with disabilities, not just talking about it.

The statistics are stark — 86% of adults with disabilities are unemployed and disconnected from community life. ANEWAY meets that challenge with real solutions. Through their small businesses Game On State and Print On State, they create actual community-based jobs using a customized employment approach that meets each person where they are, honoring individual skills, goals, and potential.

But what makes ANEWAY exceptional isn’t just the model — it’s the community they’ve built around it. At their gala last fall, the warmth and genuine connection in that room was strong. These aren’t program participants and staff — they are a family.

And ANEWAY continues to innovate. This year, their founder unveiled a bold new workforce initiative: retaining individuals as employees, investing in their training, and then placing them onsite with local businesses to gain real-world experience — all while keeping the support structure intact. It’s a model that transforms not just one life, but the businesses and communities they touch.

ANEWAY creates purpose. They build belonging. And they are making our region measurably more inclusive, one meaningful job at a time. They are exactly what the LOVE Award was created to recognize.

Wonderful venue for a birthday party—clean, well-run, kind and helpful staff. It’s a nice size for a group. They make it very easy and a good time was had by all, including many of the adults who enjoyed the retro games.
