Call for Main Line Parent 2026 Women of Influence Award Nominations

Do you know a woman who is reshaping culture for good in her neighborhood, business, or nonprofit organization? Nominate her for a Main Line Parent Women of Influence Award

You know her.

She’s the woman who bloomed in places she was never supposed to grow. Who crossed her own hot asphalt — quietly, bravely, without asking for applause — and changed her community because of it.

Maybe she runs a business that started as a dream on a napkin. Maybe she leads a nonprofit that fills a gap no one else saw. Maybe she shows up for the women around her in ways that make everyone’s life bigger and better. Maybe she’s an unsung hero who has never been publicly recognized — and that’s exactly why she needs to be.

This year, across Main Line Parent, Philadelphia Family, and Bucks County Parent, we are honoring the Brave Women of Influence in our community — the ones who are Daring to Bloom in 2026.

Nominate her. She’s earned it.

Nominations close Mother’s Day — Sunday, May 10, 2026

I’ve spent 16 years connecting the women who make this community extraordinary. Most of the women in our network wouldn’t call themselves influencers. They’re ‘just’ doing their jobs, raising their kids, serving their communities. The Women of Influence Network and Events exist to hand them a mirror — and show them what the rest of us already know.

Goals: Main Line Parent Women of Influence Awards

1. Unite Positive Culture Influencers – Brave Women Who Are Changing Their Communities

The Women of Influence Awards exist to acknowledge and amplify the impact exceptional local women have on our communities — and to remind all of us what’s possible when brave women dare to act.

This is not a small moment in history. The decisions being made right now — in our neighborhoods, our schools, our workplaces, and beyond — are being shaped by women like the one you’re about to nominate. By bringing these women together, we create a collective force for positive change. When brave women bloom, the seeds travel further than they ever imagined.

2. Celebrate Diversity and Inclusion

We actively encourage nominations of women from all walks of life — representing a wide range of professions, ages, ethnicities, and communities. By honoring women from diverse backgrounds, we highlight the full strength and resilience of our region.

This initiative embraces an inclusive definition of women. We are welcoming and respectful of all women, including trans women and those who are nonbinary, gender non-conforming, and anyone who identifies as a woman in a way that is significant to them. We also welcome allies who are committed to creating environments that are supportive of people who are typically underrepresented in the workplace and beyond.

3. Empower Women and Future Generations

When we celebrate women’s accomplishments, we send a powerful message to every young girl watching. By shining a spotlight on Women of Influence, we inspire the next generation to dream bigger, dare more, and bloom in places they were never supposed to grow.

Eligibility: Main Line Parent 2026 Women of Influence Awards

She is eligible if:

She is driven and determined. She pursues her goals with purpose and doesn’t wait for permission to lead.

She lifts others as she rises. She inspires the people around her, makes tough decisions, and gives back to her community — not because she has to, but because it’s who she is.

She has bloomed in hard ground. She has faced setbacks, navigated obstacles, and kept going — using every challenge as fuel for what comes next.

A Note on How This Works

The Women of Influence Awards are not a popularity contest. They never have been. One thoughtful, heartfelt nomination is all it takes — our team reads every single one. We’re not counting votes. We’re looking for brave stories.

The best thing you can do after being nominated? Pay it forward. Nominate the woman who inspires you.

Nominations close Mother’s Day — Sunday, May 10, 2026. One nomination per person is all that’s needed.

Main Line Parent is published by a team of local women to connect families raising their kids around the Main Line and Philly’s western suburbs with resources, events, and each other. Learn more about us, our mission, and our method for supporting local businesses at familyfocus.org.

Rachel Ford should be nominated for the Woman of influence award. Since the day I met her she has shown kindness like no other. I’ve seen her work with students and faculty and has created a diverse and supportive environment at Made.
