Summer at AIM: Where Curiosity, Confidence, and Community Come to Life
Each summer, AIM Academy offers immersive camps and enrichment programs that help students in grades 1-12 build skills, confidence, and friendships in a supportive community designed for how they learn
For families on the Main Line searching for a summer program that truly gets their child, Summer at AIM Academy in Conshohocken offers something most programs don’t: a community where every kind of learner belongs. Running July 6–July 31, 2026, this four-week program welcomes students in grades 1–12 from public, private, and charter schools — and no diagnosis is required to apply.
More than a break from school, it’s a chance for kids to explore their interests, try new things, and experience learning in a way that actually feels exciting. Through hands-on camps that blend creativity, collaboration, and real-world exploration, students dive into everything from STEAM projects to the arts, sports, and games. Whatever program a camper chooses, they’re welcomed into the same close-knit community that defines AIM throughout the school year.
For many students, summer becomes a turning point. A camper might complete their first engineering build, step onto a stage for the very first time, or finish a story they’re genuinely proud of. These experiences help kids see themselves not just as students, but as creators, problem-solvers, and contributors.
Summer at AIM Academy: Camp Programs That Make Learning Feel Different

AIM’s summer programs are intentionally designed to feel nothing like a traditional classroom. There are no grades. No tests. Just engaged, curious kids following their interests and building real skills along the way.
Every program is developed by educators who deeply understand how children learn. Activities are interactive and often blend movement, creativity, and technology — helping students connect with ideas in ways that feel natural rather than forced.
Campers might tackle engineering challenges, explore creative arts, experiment with coding, or strengthen foundational reading and writing skills — all through projects and collaboration that keep them genuinely engaged. AIM’s philosophy weaves literacy development across every subject, so students build comprehension and communication skills no matter which program they’re in.
A Community Built for Every Kind of Learner with Summer at AIM Academy

One of the most meaningful things families notice about Summer at AIM? Kids feel like they belong — often within the very first day.
AIM was founded on a core belief: every child deserves the opportunity to succeed, regardless of how they learn. That’s especially true for students with language-based learning differences like dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia. AIM’s research-based instruction and encouraging environment were built specifically to support these learners — and summer programs carry that same commitment. AIM creates spaces where students feel comfortable asking questions, trying new things, and building confidence. A diagnosis is not required to enroll. Any student in grades 1–12 who would benefit from a more supportive, skills-focused summer is welcome to apply.
“A summer program that focuses on academics with a fun, hands-on approach is an excellent way to engage students in summer learning. This is especially true for students with learning differences. These students simply cannot afford to lose the knowledge they worked so hard to gain during the school year.” — Erin DeVault, Summer at AIM Director, AIM Academy
Parents often describe noticeable shifts after just a few days at camp. A child who struggled to engage with school starts showing real enthusiasm. A student who felt different finds a group where they fit right in. For many Main Line families, that sense of belonging is worth everything.
Summer at AIM Academy Builds Skills That Last Long After Camp Ends

Summer at AIM is fun — but it’s also purposeful. Programs are designed to support long-term growth, with activities that build structured literacy, critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving alongside all the creativity and play.
This research-informed approach reflects AIM’s broader commitment to bringing the latest understanding of child development into real learning experiences. Students leave camp with more than new knowledge — they leave with resilience, independence, and the confidence to take on new challenges in the school year ahead.
The AIM Academy Difference: Confidence That Carries Forward

For many students, the biggest takeaway from Summer at AIM isn’t a project or a skill — it’s the way they see themselves when camp is over.
“Summer at AIM exceeded my expectations. Even with so many kids in the camp, it feels as though my kid gets so much personalized attention and care.” — Parent of a Lower School Camper
When kids feel genuinely supported and capable, they’re more willing to raise their hand, share their ideas, and take on challenges they might have once avoided. Parents describe it in simple, powerful terms: the child who avoided books starts reading at home. The student who never spoke up in class starts volunteering answers.
Those moments are exactly what AIM’s work is about: helping students develop the skills, confidence, and belief in themselves they need to thrive — in school and beyond.
