Ashley Meyers and the Shine She Keeps Giving Away

Ashley Meyers, a Main Line stylist turned QVC brand ambassador, spent eleven years growing a Paoli boutique from her own closet knowledge, then launched a jewelry line rooted in other people's stories.

Eleven years ago, Ashley Meyers was a Berwyn mom driving her kids to school and making peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Today, she runs Main Line Fashionista, a Paoli boutique with a staff of stylists. Ashley also spent eight years on air for QVC, once competed for Mrs. America, and just launched a jewelry line named GLDN ash. Every version of her career, she says, has come back to the same skill: listening.

Ashley Meyers is a 2026 Main Line Parent Women of Influence Award Winner

Main Line Parent’s Women of Influence Awards celebrate exceptional women making significant impacts in our community. Ashley was nominated by a colleague and selected based on her achievements and dedication to creating positive change. Each Women of Influence Award Winner has committed to support Family Focus Media’s core values. Together, we are fostering a sense of belonging and empowerment for all families. All backgrounds, races, genders, and sexual orientations are welcome and safe with us.

Beyond the awards, our Women of Influence Luncheon and Speed Networking Night attendees come together as our Women of Influence Network, a community fostering connections, collaboration, and mutual support.

From Main Line Stylist to Boutique CEO

Ashley grew up in Radnor and never left the Main Line, which she says is part of why customers trust her. She started Main Line Fashionista as a personal styling business out of her own closet knowledge. Later she opened a full boutique in Paoli, stocked with denim, tops, and dresses priced for real life. Her customers range from teenagers to grandmothers, sometimes in the same family, on the same visit.

“Every girl wants to be seen and heard and listened to,” she says. “I will see you for you and see you without judgment. That is the gift I give to every single person who walks through the store.”

For years, Ashley struggled to charge what her work was worth. That changed, she says, the day she stopped calling herself a stylist and started calling herself CEO. “I had to create the space and put a bigger price tag on me,” she says. “Fashionista and stylist didn’t feel as worthy. CEO saw my value and importance. It changed everything.”

Beauty Queen, Unexpectedly

That same confidence carried her into national television. Ashley has spent eight years as an on-air brand ambassador for QVC, working with Frye and, formerly, Patricia Nash Designs. She has also appeared on Fox, ABC, and NBC.

In 2021, at 42, she was crowned Mrs. Pennsylvania, a title she never sought out. She was recruited by the pageant’s state director, Susan Liebesman, who said Ashley was chosen because she’s “active in the community, has a positive outlook, and works hard for the success she’s had.” Ashley went on to compete for Mrs. America in Las Vegas.

How GLDN ash Jewelry Was Born

Most recently, Ashley launched GLDN ash. It started after she noticed jewelry she’d stocked in the boutique coming back tarnished. “I didn’t want to put my name behind that,” she shares. “It’s not a sustainable business model, so I leaned into the creativity and the feeling that I could do this better.”

She designed and sold pieces in the store for a full year before officially launching the brand with its own name and identity. “I wanted it to have the best foundation,” she says. “It felt so good.”

Ashley says her goal for every piece is emotional, not just aesthetic. She remembers a woman who won a piece at an event and started crying on the spot, telling her it was a symbol of who she’d become. “I want every piece to tell your story,” Ashley says. “Let your story shine through my jewelry.”

Giving Back Close to Home

Main Line Fashionista regularly hosts shopping events where proceeds go to local causes, and Ashley says she’s drawn to the ones with a personal connection. “The more local the better,” she shares. “There’s a touch and feel factor in our own backyard. Someone I know who’s benefited, and I want to join in.”

That shows up clearly in GLDN ash’s Journey Necklace, designed loop by loop around a family’s NICU story. A quarter of every sale goes to Today is a Good Day, a Flourtown nonprofit supporting NICU families. Ashley says moments tied to that piece are often what remind her why she does this work. “When we share a tear together, a woman will tell me her husband passed, or her best friend is going through cancer,” she says. “It explains why I’m doing this.”

Passing It On

Ashley has grown her team from a one-woman operation into a business with three stylists, a style director, and interns who’ve come up through the boutique. Much of what she tells them mirrors the advice she gives her own daughters, Ava and Lula. “It doesn’t have to start the way that it ends,” she says. “You often have to go where the wind blows you, and that doesn’t have to be your whole story. The process all along is the story, and there shouldn’t ever be an end.”

Ashley is candid that self-doubt hasn’t disappeared, even after everything she’s accomplished. “I still live with imposter syndrome,” she shares. “I constantly have this conversation with myself: fake it till you make it.” What’s changed is what she does with that feeling. “If we won’t start, it won’t come to be either,” she offers.

What’s Next

Ashley says she’s growing GLDN ash deliberately rather than quickly. She plans to bring the line into other boutiques and expand its wholesale reach over the next few years. She’s also continuing to grow Main Line Fashionista’s team and its calendar of local charity events.

Her advice to any woman considering starting something of her own is simple. “Go for it,” she says. “Do not get in your own head. Make that list and check it off. Keep going. Get out of your own way and go for it.”
