A Main Line Family Gives
Nurture a spirit of giving in your children this holiday season by shopping for warm cozy pajamas with them to donate to children in need with Plaid Pajamas.
‘Tis the season for giving! Instilling a charitable spirit in your child can be challenging, but Plaid Pajamas has universal appeal, to get local people in need bundled up in comfortable, warm, and new pajamas donated from generous families and children in the area.
How You Can Help
For 2021 Plaid Pajamas is requesting donations via PayPal (please send as “friends and family” NOT “goods/services” to firstname.lastname@example.org) or you may select a child from our SignUp Genius form (email email@example.com if you select a child and she will send you the mailing address). For those who have purchased or wish to purchase please email firstname.lastname@example.org for her mailing address. Check back for wish list registries on the Target website. There are also a few drop spots located in Malvern, thanks to the Malvern Business Association!
Coordinate a Pajama Drive in your neighborhood.
Buy pajamas for children and adults and reach out to Pamela to arrange for drop off to her home for delivery to one of their partner organizations.
Visit plaidpajamasproject.com for a curated list of pajamas that Plaid Pajamas created to contribute with a simple click!
Encourage a local business you love to host a donation bin or donate a portion of their sales to help Plaid Pajamas volunteers buy more pajamas.
Last year, more than 2,000 pairs of pajamas were delivered through over a dozen non-profit organizations including Cradles to Crayons, Head Start Philadelphia, Turning Points for Children, Great Valley Baptist Church, T&E Cares and MORE in the Philadelphia region, as well as Pittsburgh and New Haven, CT.
