Hellerick’s Adventure Farm

Summer Hours: 10 am – 8 pm
Hellerick’s Family Farm offers several pick-your-own experiences everyday throughout the summer including raspberries, blackberries, flowers, and veggies. Be sure to check their website or Facebook page before arriving to see what crops are available. While you’re there, stroll their one-acre field of u-pick flowers. Fill your container, included in the price, with as many flowers as you can.
Highland Orchards
Address: 1000 Marshalton Thorndale Road, West Chester PA
Summer Hours: 9 am – 4 pm, Tues. through Fri.; 9 am – 3:30 pm, Sat. & Sun.
Highland Orchards grows pick-your-own strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, and blueberries in early and mid-summer. Then pick peaches, plums, and corn in mid- to late summer. The field access fee costs $3 per person for picking. Check the PYO schedule on their website for a full calendar of crops.
Indian Orchards Farm

Summer Hours: 10 am – 6 pm
Located near the borough of Media, Indian Orchards Farm offers PYO fruit and veggies, and a farm stand. Visit their website to see what’s available to pick throughout in the season. There is a $3.50 per person picking fee, plus the cost per pint/pound.
Linvilla Orchards
Address: 137 West Knowlton Road, Media PA
PYO Hours: 8 am – 4 pm
Throughout the summer, Linvilla Orchards offers a plethora of produce for picking. Head to the farm to hand pick berries, peaches, apricots, squash, zucchini, and even sunflowers. Crop availability updates are posted on their website. Each person over 11 months old requires a ticket, which includes entry and a container; additional containers can be purchased onsite.

Maple Acres Farm

Summer Hours: 8 am – 7:30 pm
Maple Acres Farm offers pick-your-own strawberries in late May and early June, and blueberries in July. Occasionally, the farms offers PYO broccoli, peas and tomatoes, as well. Throughout the summer, they also offer an array of pick-your-own flowers. Stop by to cut zinnias, sunflowers, cockscomb, marigolds, cosmos, lisianthus, snapdragons, ageratum and chrysanthemums. Shadybrook Farm

Summer Hours: Wednesdays through Sundays, 10 am – 5 pm (last hayride departure is 3:30 pm)
Grab a “picking pass,” and hop on a hayride to pick your own fruit, produce, and flowers at Shadybrook Farm. Each pass includes a hayride to the fields and a PYO container, plus entry to the playground. From strawberries in the late spring to the apple harvest in the fall, the farm bursts with fresh produce and flowers all season long.
Picking passes — available online — cost $9 per person, with the exception of Peach and Sunflower Festival passes, which cost $15.
Solebury Orchards

Summer Hours: 9 am – 5:30 pm
Solebury Orchards has blueberrries, cherries, blackberries, apples, and flowers available to pick every Thursday through Sunday. You can also pick flowers in the cutting garden and make up a special bouquet to bring home. All pick-your-own fruit is priced by the pound for whatever you pick. Pick-your-own fruit and flowers is open rain or shine.
Weaver’s Orchard

Summer Hours: 8 am – 3:30 pm; closed Sundays
Beginning in 1932 as an fruit orchard and farm, Weaver’s Orchard has expanded to include an extensive farm market, café, and a small petting zoo.
Their large fields of strawberries draw pickers from late May through late June. Throughout the summer, you can find cherries, berries, peaches, and more. Check their website for daily PYO updates to see what’s ripe. All customers must use their pre-paid containers. Come early in the day and mid-week to avoid crowds.
