Find Pumpkin Picking Spots Near the Main Line
It’s official — the days are shorter and the nights are chillier. Get ready to head to the fields to find the most perfect pumpkins the Main Line has to offer.
Barnard’s Orchard
1079 Wawaset Road, Kennett Square
Fall hours: Mondays through Saturdays, from 9 am–6 pm
Although Barnard’s doesn’t offer pumpkin patch picking, they offer loads of pumpkins for sale from local growers. Choose traditional orange pumpkins, minis, white pumpkins, gourds, and heirloom varieties.
Barnards is locally famous for their decades-old apple orchards with some heirloom varieties in the mix. Stroll the fourth-generation family orchard and pick your own apples, then be sure to browse their farm stand for produce, flowers, and fresh cider.

Highland Orchards
1000 Marshallton-Thorndale Road, West Chester
Pick-your-own hours: Tuesday through Sunday, 9 am–3 pm
Highland Orchards has everything for your fall fun cravings. Find pumpkin and apple picking, hayrides, farm animals, and even a beer garden. Keep an eye out for other outdoor family fun like the corn maze and apple cannons.
While you’re at Highland, make sure to check out their market and bakery, featuring their famous apple cider donuts, a unique selection of local produce, jams and jellies, dairy products, baked goods, and other local items. It’s always best to check their Facebook page for any updates to their pick-your-own schedule in September and October.

Indian Orchards Farm
27 Copes Lane, Media
Pick-your-own hours: 10 am–6 pm daily
Indian Orchards Farm has all of your sustainably-grown, pesticide-free fall produce needs on their family-run 100+ year old property. Pick your own is open daily, beginning in September for apples and in October for pumpkins.
There is a weekday charge of $3.50 per person admission fee payable at the farm stand (plus pay for what you pick). On September and October weekends and holidays, the fee increases to $11.99 per person and includes a hayride. Their farm stand is also open and free for browsing if you want to peruse more fresh produce, plus honey and sustainably-harvested firewood.

Johnson’s Corner Farm
133 Church Road, Medford, NJ
Fall Harvest hours: 10 am–5 pm daily, September 12–November 1
Pick your perfect pumpkin at Johnson’s Corner Farm. Hayrides to pick pumpkins, gourds, sweet potatoes, popcorn, and sunflowers will run from 10–5 pm daily. On Fridays and weekends, allot 20-40 minutes to stroll through their family-friendly corn maze.
What’s more, every weekend through October, Johnson’s Corner will host Harvest Festivals. In addition to hayrides, enjoy live music, food tents, gem mining and duck racing, plus the discovery barnyard and animal farm.
Advanced ticket purchases Fall Harvest and Festivals are recommended. The fall fun at Johnson’s continues into November with hayrides to harvest their sweet potatoes, popping corn, broccoli and cauliflower.

Linvilla Orchards
137 W. Knowlton Road, Media
Pick-your-own hours: 8 am–4 pm daily (check website for hours for other fall activities)
For a bonanza of fall activities, visit Pumpkinland at Linvilla Orchards — open early September through early November. Choose from assorted pumpkins for sales in all sizes, plus heirloom varieties, already picked for you.
Other iconic autumn experiences include apple picking (fall 2026 apple picking is limited due to spring frost damage), hayrides (these do not stop at a pumpkin patch), a straw bale maze and a two-acre cornfield maze, apple blasters, pony rides, barnyard animals, and so much more. Don’t miss the pies, cider, and many goodies in the bakery. If you’re planning on picking your own crops, remember to register in advance.

Solebury Orchards
3325 Creamery Road, New Hope
Pick-your-own apple season starts late August, Thursday through Sunday, 9 am–6 pm
Set in the picturesque countryside of Bucks County, Solebury Orchards is known for their fruit and apple orchards. In 2026, visit them and find choose your pumpkins from their patch. On the weekends, enjoy wagon rides shop their farm market for cider, donuts, and apples from NY state. (Due to a hard frost in the spring of 2026, the orchard has very few apples for picking this fall.)

Weaver’s Orchard
40 Fruit Lane, Morgantown
Pick-your-own hours: Monday, Wednesday, & Saturday, 8 am–3 pm; Friday 8 am–5:30 pm (closed on Tuesday, Thursday & Sunday)
Pumpkin season at Weaver’s Orchard gets underway in late September and runs through late October. Established in 1932, this family farm boasts a large roster of pick-your-own fruits and vegetables throughout the growing season. (Note: like many East Coast apple growers, Weavers 2026 fall apple harvest is limited due to a hard spring frost.)
Fall Festival Days take place on Saturdays from 10 am to 5 pm from mid-September to the end of October. Festival Days feature food, hay rides, pick-your-own fruit, live music, and activities like a petting zoo, barrel train rides, tubes slides and play tunnels, face painting, and lots more. There is no general admission or parking fee at Weaver’s.

Milky Way Farm
521 E. Uwchlan Avenue, Chester Springs
Fall Harvest hours: September 26–October 31, 2026, on Fridays, 3–5 pm, Saturdays & Sundays, 10 am–5 pm
Milky Way Farm Fall Harvest Season offers a small farm, autumn experience. On Saturdays and Sundays, with each person’s $5 ticket (required for those over age 3), you may wander through the corn maze, take family photos, visit the farm animals, and stroll the pumpkin patches. You may also purchase an additional $5 hayride ticket per person and hop on a hayride to a different pumpkin patch. (Make sure to buy your $5 general admission tickets in advance.)
While at the farm, be sure to try Milky Way’s farm-fresh ice cream and hit the market for pumpkins, gourds, Indian corn, and other fall harvest-themed goods. To carry all of your goodies, you are encouraged to bring your own wagon. On Fridays, visitors can also purchase $3 tickets to explore the family-friendly corn maze.

Sugartown Strawberries
650 Sugartown Road, Malvern
Pumpkin Patch hours: September 27–October 31, from 10 am–4:45 pm
Come visit the pumpkin patch at Sugartown Strawberries. On weekends, ride a tractor-drawn wagon out to the pumpkin patch where you can search for your perfect pick. Or select one of the many varieties of pre-picked pumpkins on display in their front yard. During weekdays, guests can borrow a wagon and walk down to any of their patches to pick their own pumpkins. While there, visit the Country Store, open daily from 9 am–6 pm, for mini pumpkins, mums, honey, and more.
