Family Comes First at Pediatric and Adolescent Dentistry of the Main Line
Providing high quality dentistry and comprehensive oral health care in Bryn Mawr.
Thank you for voting us as the top pediatric dental practice on the Main Line. For the dentists of Pediatric and Adolescent Dentistry of the Main Line in Bryn Mawr, providing the highest quality dentistry and comprehensive oral health care in a relaxed, fun-filled environment is not just a business, it is a family tradition!
Dr. Winslow Harshaw didn’t have to look far for inspiration when deciding on his career path. His grandfather, Dr. Edward Harshaw, was a pediatrician and trained at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. His father, Dr. Robin Harshaw, is a pediatric dentist and also trained at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Both Dr. Robin and Dr. Winslow Harshaw completed their residencies in pediatric dentistry at CHOP and taught there, and at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. They now work together in their practice at Pediatric & Adolescent Dentistry of the Main Line.
They were joined 20 years ago by Dr. Micaella Borges-Schocker, a University of Pennsylvania graduate and native of Brazil. Dr. Schocker has been practicing for 25 years. She comes from a family of dentists including her mother, aunts, and cousins, all of whom have been great role models for her. After receiving her D.M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Schocker completed her residency in pediatric dentistry at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia.
Now, both Drs. Harshaw and Dr. Schocker are pleased to announce and welcome the addition of Dr. Kimberly Dondici-Chermol to Pediatric and Adolescent Dentistry of the Main Line. Dr. Chermol is a graduate of Temple University School of Dentistry and completed her specialty training in pediatric dentistry at The St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children. Dr. Chermol has been practicing pediatric dentistry for the past 25 years in Ardmore. She is pleased to relocate her practice to Bryn Mawr with Pediatric and Adolescent Dentistry of the Main Line. Dr. Chermol is passionate about her patients and caring for their oral health needs. Also, she has been involved with teaching dental students and pediatric dental residents at The University of Pennsylvania and The St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children. Dr. Chermol lives in Media with her husband, Steve, who is a periodontist, and their two college-aged children.
This group of pediatric dentists are focused on the health, well-being, and comfort of their patients, as well as the education they provide to parents, and to the relationships they maintain with the entire family. We believe that “early visits create healthy smiles” and we recommend the first visit should occur by the child’s first birthday.
We appreciate your interest in our practice. Let us know how we may be of service to you and your family. Please feel free to come in and have a look, or call us at 610-527-2434 to set up an appointment. We look forward to seeing you and your children soon!
