Collegeville-Trappe Memorial Day Parade & Community Day

In Honor of America’s 250th Birthday, this year’s May 25th Memorial Day Parade and Remembrance Ceremony will highlight the actions of General Washington’s Continental Army in the area, and honor the heroic sacrifices of those early brave soldiers who died to make us a free nation.
Each year, on Memorial Day Trappe honors those selfless men and women who gave their lives for our country. The parade is led by members of VFW Post 7155. All area residents, groups and businesses are invited to take part in the parade. Use the online forms to:
Bikes, animals and any people, animate or inanimate objects that can walk or roll a mile down Trappe Borough’s Main Street are welcome to join us. Vendors and sponsors are welcome to help make it happen. Sign up today.
The parade will be followed by a Remembrance Observance for those who died in our wars, followed by a Community Concert and Community Day at Waterworks Park.
Where: The parade begins at Augustus Lutheran Church on Seventh Avenue in Trappe (map it), proceeds down Main St. to First Avenue at the Trappe Shopping Center, then right on First Avenue to the entrance to Waterworks Park (map it).
When: Memorial Day, Monday, May 25th, 2026
Time: Parade begins at 10:00 am.

Waterwork Park Events at the Parade’s End
- The Remembrance Service begins at 11 a.m.
- Community Day then opens featuring a Community Concert, Kids Giant Inflatables, GrandPop Bubbles, and an old-fashioned free carnival, music and food trucks with a food court.
- Community Day ends at 3 p.m.
