Description
For nearly 60 years, Trinity Preschool of Berwyn has been an inclusive, caring community where children and their families develop and grow together. Through their special programming, children ages 16 months through Pre-K experience hands-on, creative, and play-based learning in intentionally designed classrooms, a state-of-the-art outdoor playground, nature center, and a large indoor playground for any type of weather.
Always considering the individual child and their unique interests and needs, their experienced faculty offers a wide variety of programming including: Handwriting Without Tears, Fundations, Parent-Toddler classes, gym, music, library, nature center classes, and Two-Year-Old classes that do not require potty training. Extended-day and lunch bunch enrichment options are available for those in the Three-Year-Old and Pre-K classes, including Pre-K Plus, a Kindergarten readiness program.
Trinity Preschool is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), holds a Private Academic Nursery School License from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and is licensed by the PA Department of Human Services.

I want to share how much our family truly loves Trinity Preschool of Berwyn. After having three children come through the program, with our youngest just starting the 2/3’s program this year, I can confidently say this school has been such a special part of our family’s life.
What sets Trinity apart most is the people. The teachers genuinely love what they do, and it shows every single day. Their warmth, patience, and enthusiasm create an environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn. As a parent, there is nothing more reassuring than knowing your child is cared for by educators who are truly passionate about early childhood education.
Trinity is also one of the few preschools in the area accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), which speaks volumes about the quality of education, curriculum, and care they provide. That accreditation gave us so much confidence when choosing a preschool, and it has absolutely lived up to its reputation. In fact, our two children who graduated from Trinity Preschool of Berwyn were more than prepared to move on to the (rather amazing) public school system— academically, socially and emotionally— which made the transition to kindergarten and beyond feel seamless.
We love that Trinity is a play-based preschool, allowing children to learn naturally through exploration, creativity, and social interaction. The facilities are impressive as well — with both indoor and outdoor playgrounds, the kids stay active year-round. Even during these colder months, the weather hasn’t slowed them down, which has been such a gift.
We feel incredibly grateful to be part of the Trinity Preschool community and couldn’t imagine a better place for our children to begin their educational journey. If you’re considering Trinity for your child, I can’t recommend it highly enough.

Trinity has been the absolute best place for my girls to start school. From the toddler/parent class to pre-K, my daughters have thrived at Trinity. Every single teacher and staff member has been wonderful. It feels more like a family than a preschool. Not only for the kids, the school has amazing functions for the parents to meet long lasting friends going through the same stages of life. I am already sad realizing my daughter will be graduating this year, but I am happy knowing she is well prepared for kindergarten. I couldn’t recommend Trinity enough to anyone with young kids in the area.

Trinity Preschool of Berwyn has been our preschool home for the past 4 years. It is a place where my children are loved and celebrated for who they are. The teachers are warm, kind and intentional in everything that they do – it is a school where play-based education is in action every single day. From the outdoor nature center, to the indoor playground, to the engaging and content-rich afternoon enrichment programs, Trinity really is something special. We also feel incredibly lucky to be a part of a school with a thriving parent community as well – we have made some of our closest friends through Trinity and parenting is so much easier when you are in it together. All of the teachers and staff at Trinity are amazingly kind and loving and we are so grateful that they are a part of our children’s preschool experience. Both of our children love to go to school to spend time with their friends and teachers and are always eager to tell us about the different, interesting things they do every day. Trinity Preschool of Berwyn is a warm, welcoming community where children truly come first. We have had a positive experience for the four years my oldest two children have been there. The Red Room is especially wonderful, and Ms. Jen and Ms. Carli are simply the best—kind, patient, and deeply attuned to each child’s needs. Every program, from parent-toddler through Pre-K, is thoughtfully designed to support children’s growth socially, emotionally, and academically. The staff go above and beyond to be accommodating and friendly, creating a nurturing environment where children feel safe, confident, and excited to learn. Trinity is so great with children, that mine actively ask for more time to play with their teachers and friends. The director, Liz, has an open door and is there to hear out every parent. She is incredibly community-centered and creates solutions to every parent concern. I am rarely impressed by preschools, but Trinity goes above and beyond.

The teachers truly care about my child as if they were their own, and that means everything to our family. We have been part of the Trinity community for a few years now with both of our children and have had such wonderful experiences. My daughter loves nature class and the enrichments; she comes home eager to share the different art forms and artists they learned about and show me the yoga poses they practiced. Miss Jen and Carli have been such caring teachers to both my children. Nothing like seeing your child light up at the site of their teacher. The community is welcoming and provides such fun and engaging experience for both the children and the parents.

Trinity is such a unique, one of a kind preschool. When we were first looking into preschools, we toured many schools and did parent toddler at a few of them. However, upon touring Trinity, I knew we had found something truly special. The teachers were so kind, the parents were welcoming and the whole community embraced not only the child but the whole family. Trinity focuses on teaching each child individually with a focus on play and it has been incredible to watch our oldest daughter progress year after year. I’m shocked by the educational as well as emotional lessons that are being taught that we see shine through in how she acts at home. She has grown so much in her almost four years there. She is now in prek and we will be so sad to see her leave the school that helped raise her. Fortunately, we have two other kids that are starting at Trinity and we are so fortunate to be apart of a lifelong community.
