My grandson used to come home from his private school in tears every day. We discovered he was being bullied, and it broke my heart to see how it affected him. His behavior and academics began to deteriorate, and despite informing the teacher and principal, nothing was done. The bullying continued, and my fun, loving, and jovial 6-year-old seemed to disappear.
Then we found Fáilte Waldorf Microschool, and Jennifer changed everything. She brought back the child we thought we had lost. It wasn’t instant—he had to work through the trauma first—but little by little, that beautiful, happy boy reemerged. I will forever be grateful to Jennifer and Fáilte for that.

As a grandfather, I’ve seen many schools over the years, but Fáilte Waldorf Microschool is something truly special. My grandson went from dreading school to waking up excited to learn. I love hearing his stories about what he’s building, growing, and discovering each day. He even complains when school is closed for a snow day—who ever heard of a kid wishing they could go to school instead of playing in the snow? That alone tells you everything you need to know. I’m so grateful he’s found a place where he gets to be himself.
