Essential Breastfeeding Support: Where Main Line Moms Find Expert Help

Find breastfeeding classes, lactation consultants, nursing support groups, and other postpartum resources for new moms across the Main Line

A mom sits against fuzzy pillows while breastfeeding her baby.

Breastfeeding, just like fitness and nutrition, provides powerful health benefits to both mom and baby. For infants, breast milk supports a healthy immune system, fights against infections, and provides complete, personalized nutrition. For mothers, nursing can reduce the risk of breast cancer, ovarian cancer, and other chronic health conditions. Itโ€™s a win-win.

Where Do New Moms Find Main Line Breastfeeding Support?

New moms on the Main Line have access to a wide variety of breastfeeding resources and support. Board Certified Lactation Consultants provide clinical support in the hospital setting after birth and at home. Moms can also find support through local nursing groups, breastfeeding classes, and community organizations dedicated to new families.
