Mister John’s Music: Teaching the Joy of Music

Mister John’s Music is a boutique music school based in Philadelphia that makes music with hundreds of families every week. The school was founded by John Francisco, aka “Mister John,” whose love of music and infectious enthusiasm has attracted a staff of creative musicians, singers, and performers.

Philadelphia and Main Line Children’s Music Classes 

Mister John’s Music specializes in kids group instrument classes that make learning fun in supportive environments. Classes boost musical skills while building confidence to perform and work as a team.

Currently they offer group classes in guitar, piano, ukulele, percussion, and choir. Kids group classes run one hour and begin on weekdays at either 3:50 pm or 5 pm. Some kids weekend music classes are available, as well. 

Main Line Baby Music Classes

Mister John’s Music holds regular baby music classes on the Main Line. Early childhood music classes boost brain functioning, motor skills and language development, but their classes focus on positive social-emotional dynamics and shared experience, too. 

With a huge variety of popular music, babies, parents and nannies are all active participants in the experience. Through music, rhythm and movement, infants and toddlers learn about self-expression, teamwork, sharing, and empathy.  

Fall registration is currently open and the fall session begins September 1st. Join their classes on Wednesdays and Thursdays at Gladwyne Presbyterian Church for babies 0–2+.
